Hello everyone! I hold a doctorate in Italian, have been teaching Italian for 5 years and hold a CELTA teaching qualification. I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Italian for business. Hi, I'm Michael. I'm from Switzerland but I spent most of last year in Brazil, where I was doing research for my PhD in history and where I was once again in the position of learning a foreign language – a valuable experience for any language teacher. Languages are my passion, whether learning or teaching them.

I have over 10 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign language on the most diverse level, in language schools, high schools and even a prison. Thus I can offer tailor-made individual classes. The pillar of my practice-based method is that the students use the language on topics and situations that are really important for them, be it daily-life situations or specific topics they need vocabulary for.
