In Spain, I taught Japanese to Spaniards for 10 years. I am currently still teaching online. In Tokyo, I teach Spanish and Italian to Japanese students.

Siempre que salgo, llevo en mi mochila papel, lápices y rotuladores (en los últimos años también he empezado a usar un iPad) para poder dibujar cuando quiero, y cuando me encuentro con una escena que me llama la atención, me detengo y dibujo allí de pie.
Durante unos cuatro años continué con mi proyecto espontáneo “Everyday I draw Barcelona”, en el que dibujaba cada día una escena de una esquina diferente de Barcelona. Me atraen las escenas cotidianas, alejadas del bullicio de los lugares turísticos y donde se puede sentir el aliento de la gente local.
Los dibujos creados sumergiéndose en un espacio al aire libre durante un período de tiempo tienen el poder de transmitir la atmósfera de ese lugar y ese momento, y creo que una composición espacial dibujada desde la propia perspectiva puede expresarse de una manera diferente a una fotografía. Los dibujos se han plasmado en art prints, camisetas, bolsas y otros productos que están disponibles para la venta en tiendas de Barcelona y online.
Actualmente estoy trabajando en una serie de dibujos que representan el paisaje de todas las estaciones de la línea Toyoko como una versión moderna del Edo ukiyo-e.

Nacido en Tokio. Después de graduarme de la Universidad de Keio, estudié diseño gráfico en Milán, y viví en Barcelona desde 2008. Desde abril de 2024, he regresado a Japón por un período prolongado por primera vez en 18 años.

En 2023 fue el encargado de ilustrar el libro "2048×100=Barcelona: 100 voces para el futuro de la ciudad", editado por la Associació Antic Gremi de Revenedors, la cámara de comercio más antigua de Cataluña con una historia que se remonta al siglo XV.
En 2024 fue el encargado de realizar una ilustración para conmemorar la victoria del FC Barcelona en la Women's Champions League, obsequiado por la ciudad de Barcelona.

Drawing is a fun activity. It's very interesting to see how the lines take shape as you draw them, and it's also satisfying when you take the finished drawing home.
This workshop is aimed at people of all ages, from children to adults who love to draw and want to learn tricks and tips for drawing.
You can bring anything you like and would like to draw, whether it's a manga, a photograph, or even the actual object if you can bring it with you. If you don't have anything in particular, we'll look at the materials I've prepared together and I'll give you tips on how to draw!
You can draw on paper with a pencil or marker, or if you have a tablet, that's fine too.
