Hi everyone,

I'm Mathieu, 40 years old, from Paris, France. I'm a full-time professional french teacher. I lived in Shanghai for more than 5 years where I used to teach in french companies and language institutes.
Now, I mainly teach private classes as a freelance, one to one. I have a 12-year teaching experience in China and France, face-to-face and online through Skype or other similar tools. I'm fluent in english and speak an intermediate chinese mandarin.

I'm a patient, easy-going and flexible private french tutor available for online classes.

Here is a little self-introduction : I graduated in 2006 in a business school in Paris. I worked for more than 6 years in Paris as a Marketing Manager in several global companies.

After that, i changed my career plans and worked as a french teacher for 5 years in Shanghai, China. Now i'm back to France where i still teach french online to students all over the world.

I love being a french teacher, i like to see my students' progress lesson after lesson. I like to share my knowledge with other people, for the language of course but also for the french culture and history.

For the materials, i have created my own method with different sets of PDF, they cover A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels. For higher levels, classes are made of discussions/debates about current affaires topics or some press articles that i can share with you.

This course is accessible to everybody. It can take any form you want, from a very formal procedure with the learning of grammar and tenses, to a less formal procedure that would allow you to discover the French traditions and culture, such as movies, food, etc. while learning the language in a fun way.

I have already taught French to students from the netherlands (Between 19 and 26 years old) and I am currently giving French lessons as well to a young chinese child of 10 years old.
The best thing to learn rapidly is to have regular lessons that is why I give homework to do and in the beginning of each lesson I ask what we learn during the previous lesson.
I use different tools to attract the student like audio, video, book.
