My name is Isabel and I'm a passionate Spanish tutor dedicated to helping you improve your skills. I’m a native Spanish speaker with a degree in Translation and Interpreting, which I studied in the beautiful city of Córdoba in Spain, although I'm originally from Almería.
Whether you want to improve your Spanish for everyday use, master advanced skills, or prepare for the DELE exam, I tailor each lesson to your needs. With a structured yet dynamic approach, I’ll help you gain confidence, refine your language abilities, and reach your goals.
If you're preparing for the DELE exam, I will guide you through each section—reading, writing, listening, and speaking. We'll be using official materials, past exam papers, and personalized strategies to help you feel confident on exam day. We'll focus on structured practice, time management, and the specific requirements of your level to ensure you achieve the best possible results.
But learning Spanish isn’t just about grammar and vocabulary. It is also much more than just "tapas", "cerveza", and "jamón"! I am Anne, I come from the beautiful and rainy Bretagne, in France, and I settled in the beautiful,and less rainy Berlin.

As I'm myself learning German, I understand the struggles you face when you learn a new language. I know that it is sometimes hard to dive into this new world and how much a safe atmosphere is important when it comes to make this challenge self-rewarding and stay motivated.

That's why, after a first meeting, we'll define together your needs and personal objectives, so that I can adapt my lessons. We'll answer two important questions : what goals do you want to achieve (focus on oral skills, pass an exam, understand verbs’ conjugation...) and how do you personally find motivation ?

Positive emotions and motivation help us memorize better, like repetition. So, depending on which learner you are, we can resort to games, flash-cards, mind-maps, creative activities so as to solicit imagination and have fun... You can propose themes (and I have a bunch in stock), so that I build courses that would help you learning by working on subjects you're interested in.

I'm a caring and enthusiastic teacher, you're more than welcome to try a first course with me, and see if it suits you !

I adore languages. I like to teach, to pass on knowledge, and rejoice in progress which, as a matter of fact, is a result of matching teamwork. I am quite old fashioned in my teaching which means that we will learn by serious work and not 'by play' as some schools or parents wish for. We have to keep in mind that the idea is that the student is progressing in his/her learning which does not mean that it cannot be fun.

Regardless of whether you need individual or group tuition, the teaching program is tailored to your needs. The lessons take place either with me or with you, lessons via Skype are also possible. You can either book an hour once or twice a week or an intensive course.
