Ik ben een gitaarleraar afgestudeerd aan de Fontys Hooge School voor de Kunst, ik heb veel ervaring met lesgeven aan jonge kinderen en volwassenen met en zonder voorkennis, ik vind het leuk dat mijn studenten zich met mij identificeren en vertrouwen hebben in het leerproces , dat maakt dat ze sneller en leuker leren, ik gebruik verschillende methoden om gitaar te leren, en ik combineer ze met mijn ervaring en intuïtie, mijn ervaring met lesgeven aan een muziekacademie was altijd prettig, en ook met een wachtlijst vol met studenten, Ik ben ook erg goed in het voorbereiden van studenten op de toelatingsexamens van het conservatorium.

De leerlingen moeten voor elke les een notitieboekje met blanco vellen hebben, een grafietpotlood en een gum, het is ook nodig een methode (boek) die ze persoonlijk moeten kopen, we zullen beslissen welke methode we zullen gebruiken na het doen van de testles , dus we zullen het belang van de student hebben voor de voortzetting van het leren

Niets is leuker dan al bij de 1e les iets te kunnen spelen en bij mij is dat mogelijk, anders is het zo saai.
Ik geef les in Pop, Rock, Funk en Reggae..
Het hangt van jezelf af hoe vaak je oefent om te kunnen spelen..

My name is Matteo, I'm a professional bassist from Brussels, currently based in Amsterdam.
I perform and have performed with renowned musicians and bands from many different scenes and styles, bringing me to venues all over the world (USA, UK, Germany, Denmark, France, Romania, Portugal, Spain...).
I have a deep passion for music ever since I started playing 16 years ago, and would like to share it with you!
Bass is the best! And I want to help you uncover it's full potential.
I believe the best way to learn music is to study what you love, and always work from a place of curiosity and passion.
Therefore, we will always look together for ways of making the process the most enjoyable and tackle different topics through the music YOU love. The classes are tailored to each individual student: we find the best workflow for you, and adapt the lessons. If you need structure and a clear program, I can provide that; but if you prefer to keep it loose and see as we go, it's all good. All that matters is your continued motivation and progress.
Among other things, we can focus on:
-Basic technique on the instrument
-Learning songs of your choice, with a method that will allow you to learn songs by yourself later on.
-Learn about different styles: Pop, Rock, Funk, Soul, Metal, Jazz...
-Develop your understanding of music through the instrument (scales, arpeggios...)
-Creativity, and improvisation through the use of the material we have studied together
-Ear training and music theory
-Rhythm, all the way from basic to very advanced
-Basic compositional techniques, or fun ways to start composing

I have been teaching privately for the past 6 years, with very happy students. I can also teach online if it's better, I also have regular online students with whom we are making great progress.

For the lesson, there is no need to bring an instrument: I can lend you one.

Sign up for a band playing lesson as an individual instrumentalist, and you will be paired with other like-minded musicians to form a band. I will pair musicians of similar levels and who share similar musical interests together.
We will meet once or regularly based on the students availability, and will go over the basics of what it means to play in a group, put a repertoire of music together, and take your musicianship to the next level. Too often when learning an instrument, we fail to do what is ultimately the end goal of these long hours spent practicing : making music with others. This is also a great opportunity to meet fellow musicians and share your passion with others.

PS : at least one to two years of experience on your instrument is recommended to sign up for band playing lessons.

Je vous propose d'apprendre ensemble en quelques semaines vos morceaux préférés et vous aider à vous sentir confiant avec l'instrument. Quelque soit votre niveau, je serai là pour vous accompagner avec bienveillance dans votre épanouissement personnel .

Étant à la fois guitariste autodidacte et diplômé du conservatoire je serai capable de m'adapter à vous pour que vous vous sentiez le mieux dans votre démarche d'apprentissage.

Ayant de nombreuses expériences avec des élèves en particulier comme dans les conservatoires, tous sont très contents de ma pédagogie !!!
