About Me

Tomás Enrique was born in Argentina in 1993, he is currently developing as a performer of academic guitar. He began his studies in classic guitar in the year 2014 to later begin his formar studies at the Santa Ana private conservatory in the year 2015, there he received lessons from the performer Gustavo Collazo(who was a student of Eduardo Fernandez) for 3 years.
In 2018 he entered the Nationar university of the Arts in the Bachelor of Music(Universidad Nacional de las artes''UNA'') with a specialization in guitar where he is studying under the tutelage of the teacher, performer and composer Camilo Verga. He is currently preparing his graduation thesis and studying the last year of guitar program, in turn he works as a private teacher of different musical styles always seeking to stimulate and promotethe learning of music and the guitar. Among his most oustanding concerts is his debut ''full concert (1:00:00 of duration)'' in 2022 in Zárate organized by the: ''Asosicación Amigos de la Música de Zárate''. He was one of the few student of the Nationar university of the Arts in the Bachelor of Music(UNA)(Including all instruments to give a complete concert(1:00:00) promoted by his profesor Camilo and the University itself in the temple BET BNEI TZION(Hebrew community). other notable concerts where he shared the stage with other classic guitarist are: Museo historico Nacional(2018),

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points:

Would you classify improvisation as composition or performance? Well actually it is both! When you improvise you are composing music on the spot, performing what you have made up at the same time as you have composed it.

For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease.

The key to success is understanding chords. Once you know how chords are formed and know what notes make up a few chords you will be well on your way towards being able to improvise. We will, therefore, start by ensuring a firm knowledge of certain chords. After this we will progress to improvising a simple melody over the top of these chords. The next stage is to start using notes that are not in the chord. The process is then open ended with emphasis on developing the melody.

If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session.

Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.

This course is designed to build skills in either playing the cello, music theory, ear training, or all three! If you are seeking to learn cello this course is a great place to start. I am most familiar with the suzuki books, however I am dedicated to making cello and music as widely available as I can, so if access to sheet music is a challenge I am open to pursuing alternate lesson plans.
If you are a current music student who isn't seeking to learn cello but would like support in Music Theory or Aural Skills (also often referred to as Ear Training), I am more than happy to provide tutoring in those subjects.
