Since I was young, I have always enjoyed learning languages as I know it is a very important skill to have. Being able to speak and understand languages is difficult, it takes time and effort to excel. I, like you, am still finding new words that I don’t know and expanding my vocabulary. However, with my fun and creative lessons, we can work together to improve your confidence and ability. If you have a particular interest, I can tailor the language lessons towards it (for example, if you like music, I can play French and Spanish songs to help you remember grammar points and vocabulary).

I recently graduated from the University of Manchester where I studied for four years. I embarked on a year abroad in Lyon, France and Seville, Spain during my degree. As I love to travel, I explored many different iconic cities during this time. Not only do I enjoy discovering new places and learning about different cultures, but I also love football. I have played football since I was young and joined the women’s team whilst at university. I regularly watch my favourite team Tottenham Hotspur and go to matches. I am also vegan and enjoy cooking many different recipes and going out to eat at restaurants. I am very interested in the environment and helping to fight climate change.

Opleiding

In June I graduated from the University of Manchester where I studied French and Spanish. I took several different modules; translation classes, French music journalism and Spanish linguistics for example.

Leservaring

I have a lot of experience tutoring French to young children. I have helped them to better understand grammar points such as the subjunctive and I have provided them with very useful vocabulary lists. Importantly, I also have experience in looking after children as a babysitter and camp counsellor in America. It has enabled me to become even more patient and dedicated to each child, which is a useful skill to have when tutoring.

Hello everyone,

I am a 22 years old Belgian Female who recently moved in London in order to pursue my law studies. I completed my bachelor at the University College Maastricht in the Netherlands, and have acquired a lot of tutoring experience over the past three years. Indeed, alongside my studies, I have always dedicated some of my time to tutor French/English/Dutch lessons to people of all ages.

My lessons are taught in a way as to encourage my students to live the language they want to learn. I give considerable importance to improving one's verbal abilities, and my lessons are structured as follows:

- Warm-up games (i.e., vocabulary games).
- Verbal Skills: Debate on any topic of the student's interest.
- Writing Skills: Small essays to write at home following the debate (correction during the next class where attention shall be paid to grammar rules, etc.).
