I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I understand that each individual students have different learning styles that work best for them, which is why I am very flexible with my teaching style, to ensure that all students with different learning styles will be able to learn efficiently. I teach basic subjects such as reading and writing for Preschool students. I teach subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, and History for Grades 1-8, review past lessons for remedial or examinations, as well as help students with specific assignments or projects related to these subjects. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing. I try to make my lessons as interacting as possible. The lessons and exercises will be provided through PowerPoint presentations. I try to listen to my student in order to prepare the lesson plan together, according to his needs and preferences. I've always been the smiling and friendly tutor who makes the student comfortable during the lessons. I believe that in order to reach the students you need to understand them also emotionally and psychologically.
