My name is Laia and I am a student from Spain studying a MA in political science in Brussels. Therefore, my mother tongue is Spanish and Catalan. Moreover, I've had the opportunity to live and study abroad in countries like the United States, Germany and France and I have achieved the C2 level in english (Cambridge title), and the basic levels in French and German. I really like teaching languages since I believe learning idioms is a really useful skill and I can totally adapt to every type of class that the student desires (it can be online or at home, I could focus more on Speaking or the desired area, and I could also teach more than one student at a time).
I have taught english to kids before and I really enjoy the experience of seeing people develop an interest for the Spanish/Catalan culture.

I am a 21 year old student that easily adapts to every kind of environment. I am really responsible and have a lot of patience. Since I believe that the learning environment is one of the keys to successful language learning, I endeavor to make students feel comfortable and content in my lessons: to ask questions if they are unsure and keep an easy but rewarding pace of learning.

Depending on how my students feel they learn English most effectively, I adapt my lessons to use materials that give them the best results possible.
