I am a mother-tongue Italian living in Helsinki, currently doing my Ph.D. in Finland. I have a classical and historical studies background and this course will be open to every level of knowledge. I will use different approaches according to the preferences and skills of the student. All the aspect of language and culture will be covered, including the history of Italy and of the Ancient Rome.

We can use any grammar book, I will adapt the course to it. I can travel all through Helsinki with no problem.

I taught to several students, especially in the age of middle and high school. To one of them, I have been the very first teacher of Latin and Greek. My method usually follows the order presented by the grammar book, but with a more conversational and thoughtful approach, dialoguing with the student and making him/her sure that is actually understanding, and not only remembering.

Education

- Currently Ph.D student at the Unversity of Helsinki. Programme of History and cultural heritage.
- Master degree at Sapienza University of Rome in Cultures and Religions. Score: 110 with honors.

Expérience / Qualifications

Private teacher of Latin and ancient Greek between 2016 and 2022.
I also had several courses of classical and historical subject both at high school and university.
