French lessons for all levels by an experienced teacherExperienced teacher at the guidance level is enthusiastic about helping students improve by having fun reading and writing.
The idea of this course is to offer a pleasant contact to students with difficulties in French, to allow them to gain confidence in themselves, having fun to come and come back and see the progress made.
I have experience of teaching and support classes, I appreciate the contact of students, but especially their smiles when they regain self-confidence and feel able to progress.
It is a privilege to be able to live these moments that allow students to open up, to express themselves and to see new perspectives.

Private lessons - History, Economics, Maths, French, English - Primary to MaturityTo improve in a subject, you just need to know the rules and the rest becomes child's play. Having been a recent student, I adapt to the person and personalize my course. Pedagogy is the most important, so I try to make my course come alive!
I had an ES baccalaureate (economics/sociology) with honors, a double bachelor's degree in History and Economics with honors and am in a master's degree in visual arts at HEAD.
This course is intended for students, from primary to mature.
Also for adults.

Support courses in German, English and French for primary / guidance / college levelsMy goal is to help the student to progress in the subjects which pose a problem to him by insisting on the obstacles which he meets.
I am used to working with children, having myself a 9-year-old little brother, nevertheless my level is quite suitable for more mature students
I know how to adapt to the needs of the student and rely mainly on books or documents from my own courses or elsewhere, and which I find to be very effective for anyone with difficulties in German, English or French. In addition, I particularly enjoy writing theory sheets.

French lessons for all ages (children, teenagers, young adults, adults)I am a young girl who obtained her maturity 2 years ago and who is at the University of Geneva in medicine. I love reading books and I love my French lessons, especially in college. I offer French lessons for children who have difficulty with reading, writing, syntax, oral or written comprehension to give them a little boost and make them love this essential subject. Or for teenagers in the cycle who hate their French lessons because they feel that they are not very useful and that in any case what we analyze in class even the author did not think of it when writing his book . Or for slightly older teenagers who either take malicious pleasure in reading the works proposed by their teachers or are bored to death in front of these old works and who would just like to understand roughly what the book is about and what you have to remember to do a good text analysis and write a correct essay. Finally, this course can also be aimed at older people who are not of French mother tongue and who would like to improve their knowledge. Looking forward to helping you!

Private French lessons for adults and teenagers with native French speaker in Co. MayoFor the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above.
You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland. This unique blend of experiences equips me with a strong and relevant teaching approach. I possess an intimate understanding of both cultures, enabling me to tailor my classes to the specific needs of my students.
My teaching journey began during my time studying social work in French-speaking Switzerland. I started offering private French and English lessons to supplement my income, and I quickly discovered my passion for it. Even after graduating and embarking on a full-time career, I couldn't bear to give up this rewarding activity. I cherished the opportunity to connect with diverse individuals and assist them in achieving their language goals.
In my teaching methodology, interactivity takes center stage. I employ a variety of engaging learning tools, including photos, newspaper articles, music, videos, and more. My approach is highly adaptable, with a focus on addressing each student's unique priorities. Some seek to refine their pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary, while others require assistance with presentations or speeches for school or work. Some simply aspire to acquire a new language to enrich their general knowledge. I also specialize in teaching younger children, a testament to my educational background and experience.
What you will gain from my courses extends beyond impeccable pronunciation and enhanced vocabulary and grammar. You'll also acquire a profound understanding of the culture associated with each language. When speaking a language, it's essential to appreciate the lifestyle, traditions, and heritage of the nations where it thrives. French and English are spoken as primary languages in numerous countries worldwide, each with its own unique accent and cultural nuances. The learning process is limitless!
In addition to my language instruction, I'm a genealogist and host spiritual (non-religious) seminars in the beautiful West of Ireland. My passion for vegetarian and vegan cuisine adds a flavorful dimension to my life. Furthermore, I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and have operated a private "Before & Afterschool" facility along with Summer Camps catering to children aged 4 to 12 for many years.
I am genuinely excited about the prospect of meeting and working with you!

Non-formal Latin classes. Multilingual teacher with 10 years of experience. Pronunciation, historical linguistics, semantics.Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart.
I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches:
If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options:
1) Learn the schedules by heart.
2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m.
In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster.
My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results.
Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind.
I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics.
What will not be the subject of the course:
learn lists of verbs;
learn lists of nouns with their gender;
learn words with their translations;
memory card game;
doing school exercises;
follow the program in a notebook;
impose French grammar on the Latin language.
What matters to me in particular:
motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm;
encourage creativity;
make friends with language;
letters and their sounds
strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop;
teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart;
explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible;
breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ;
place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
In the context of a first course, you can get a well-founded idea of my pedagogy.
I look forward to meeting you.
