"Bome MIDI Translator Pro" is an application that allows performing artists to control a program on their mac/pc or a MIDI device (MIDI compatible) from another MIDI device.

For example, you can control one or more programs from a control surface, direct any DJ'ing software with your turntables, assign a MIDI message to one or more other(s). ) MIDI message(s), transform "Ableton Live" into Loop Station 8x4, optimize your "AKAI APC 20/40" (or other) with custom scripts and much more...

This course is a practical introduction to the basic concepts of the application and the methods of designing more complex presets and configurations which will allow you to unleash your creativity and take control of your machines in a way you never knew before. perhaps not yet imagined.

On request, I can also assist you in the development and/or finalization of your more complex or problematic configurations.

In short, if you are still reading these lines and you have understood what they are talking about, you are part of the restricted audience to whom this course is aimed. Contact me to master this program that you will use all year round!
Extra information
Although not required, some basic knowledge of MIDI protocol will help us move faster.

About Me
Initiated at the thing from a young age, I am passionate about music in general as well as jazz (and its African origins) in particular. Far from being closed-minded, however, I have collaborated on many musical projects exploring a variety of styles (funk, electro, jazz, afro, latin-jazz, spoken-word, hip-hop, fusion, soul, zouk, maloya). Currently, I shoot with 3 groups of which we will have, perhaps, the chance to speak viva voce.

In addition to the more "academic" courses, I worked a lot on my instrument on the advice of some private teachers and especially as a self-taught teacher.

Stay motivated! Music is a vast universe and there are many ways to listen to it, to enjoy it, but also to work and develop it. That is why, by paying close attention to the motivations of each student, I think that it is always possible to develop a personalized method, adapted to the best in order to allow each one to preserve all the pleasure that can provide the regular practice of his instrument.

Whether using traditional exercises, methods or repertoires such as those of Hanon, Bach, Mark Levine, Charlie Parker or others, picking up pieces by ear, developing a sense of rhythm , composition, arrangement, etc., there is always one step more to go through and the resources to accomplish it in confidence, savoring the small daily progress.

Regardless of the path followed, each new step undertaken is an opportunity for me to introduce (or to recall) musical notions peculiar to the piano or to music in general, as well as certain underlying and ubiquitous principles in the work. and the understanding of the instrument.

It's been around twenty years that I develop my professional activities around this passion. 15 years ago, already, that I gave my first regular piano lessons, at the time of my university studies at the ULB In all, I would say that I accumulated 8 years of experience as a teacher , at home or in various schools / structures (Brussels Music School, REMUA, XL'Jeunes, International Montessori School).

Whether they are 7 or 77 years old, the students always offer me unique experiences and points of view.

From the beginning, I have been enjoying these opportunities to share what I know about my passion, to meet new people of all ages and all cultures around a shared motivation.
