Piano, music theory and musical appreciation
From 96.05 € /h
Pianist student at the HEM in Geneva offers piano lessons as well as music theory! Basic elementary and intermediate level I also propose a part to speak about the musical appreciation of all the periods of the history of the music. For all ages!
These will be lessons to work on the piano (beginners and intermediate) while we talk about music theory (harmony, music theory, analysis, etc.) and also a time to listen to recordings and talk about musical appreciation. Besides classical education, I also work with jazz pieces and pop music. It's an hour to have fun, learn and discover.
I have over five years of experience teaching piano and music theory, with children, youth and adults.
I can move to the student's home (Lausanne and Canton of Vaud) and I am flexible with weekly schedules. I adapt to each student and situation!
Classes can be given in French, Spanish or English.

About Me
Born in Caracas in 1999. He began studying piano with Carlos Urbaneja Silva (2011-2017) at the "Escuela de Música Mozarteum Caracas" and music theory with Eduardo Plaza and Eduardo Lecuna. He participated in several concerts as a soloist with the Municipal Orchestra of Caracas and Rodolfo Saglimbeni, the Mozarteum Chamber Orchestra and the National Philharmonic Orchestra. He also performs in several editions of the "Festival de Música de Cámara Mozarteum" in Caracas and plays for several international embassies in Venezuela, in special events. During his studies at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne, he had the opportunity to participate in the program "Des Masters sur les Ondes", presenting a program of Spanish vocal music with the soprano Pilar Alva Martín. This project earned them first prize in the Lavaux Classic competition (Lausanne) in the summer of 2021. It also received the Paléo Prize in 2020 for their excellent bachelor course at the HEMU. In addition to his piano career, he devoted himself to composition and the study of music theory, receiving advice from William Blank and took a keen interest in photography/cinematography, bringing the two disciplines together in several personal projects. He has just completed a Master's degree in piano in the class of Christian Favre at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne and will begin a second Master's degree in Musical Theory at the Haute École de Musique de Genève.
