About Me
I'm friendly and easy to get with. My teaching approach is light and I don't put on too much pressure on the learner. I tend to go with the pacing of the learner rather than my own pace to make sure that the learner is learning properly. My teaching method, especially teaching Tagalog/Filipino, is more of a practical approach, like what is useful in a day-to-day scenarios, conversational and frequently used terms in Tagalog, and a bit of jokes and fun to ease you up into learning the language.
Education
I'm a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. I took up a professional degree in Education to be able to teach Hospitality Subjects like Front Office Management, Housekeeping and Tourism Promotions. I took an online TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Course a few months ago and I'm currently taking up Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care at Australian College of the Professions here in Sydney, Australia.
Experience / Qualifications
I have been teaching for 6 years now. I worked for 2 years teaching hospitality subjects to college students in a private college in the Philippines. I taught for 3 years in public high school in the Philippines, teaching home economics and basic cookery to junior and senior high school students.
