Hi!
My name is Aaron. Welcome to my profile! I'm a 31 year old professional Dutch teacher. I started teaching Dutch 5 years ago at a school specialized in teaching Dutch to non-native speakers between 12 and 18. My speciality is creating specific courses based on your learning level and needs. Why do you need the language? What are you studying for? Are you interested in explicit grammar or do you prefer conversational courses? All of these are possible. Learning a new language is always a struggle, but let's make it a little easier together.

Education

I earned a bachelor's degree in teaching, specialized in Dutch and English in 2016. Afterwards I went back to university to get my Masters in Journalism in Antwerp.

I guide students from the age of 18 and prepare them for exams, among other things, based on the material they need to know. An extra support in addition to the weekday lessons. Adults can contact me for professional or non-professional purposes and are coached according to the needs of their position or as a 'refresher' of the language subjects they have learned at school.

I only teach during the day at my home address in Antwerp and NOT via webcam!

As a bachelor Language and Literature (Dutch-French) and master Business Communication (Dutch-French) I have a broad knowledge of Dutch and French for both private and business use. I am currently working as an account manager for an IT company in the Brussels region. That means that I often have to make phone calls in French. This not only provides academic knowledge, but also practical knowledge.
In addition, I have years of experience as a language animator and internship supervisor at CLIP Taalvakanties and I therefore know better than anyone how to teach children a language and make them enthusiastic.

Hi, I'd love to help you learn French, whether it's from scratch or to help you improve. I love to let my students speak because I strongly believe that practice is the key to learning a language and improving your knowledge. During our first lesson we will discuss your goals and level and I will tailor a lesson for you. I like to structure my classes according to topics based on everyday life situations (how you introduce yourself, how to make an appointment, go shopping, go to the doctor, professional language, etc.). We will go through the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. If you are an average person, we will also give some lessons on reading comprehension + speaking. We will put both grammar and vocabulary into practice.

I am a good, young, motivated, and enthusiastic Dutch teacher.

Students sometimes cannot always follow along well in certain lessons because it sometimes goes a bit quickly and sometimes they just need a little more time to understand certain things. Understanding the learning material is very important. That is why I offer tutoring tailored to every student! Every student is different and learns differently. Due to the teacher training, I have completed and the years of experience in tutoring, I know many (online) tools that allow students to store things in their memory efficiently and better. The student will realize that learning this way is much more fun!
