I am a professional musician and keyboard performer, specializing in instruments from various historical periods. I graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and am currently studying in the Master's program at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
With many years of teaching and performing experience, I offer lessons for students of any age and skill level. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced player, I will help you develop your technique, musicality, and confidence.

I am a professional musician specializing in keyboard instruments from various historical periods (piano, harpsichord, pianoforte). I graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

- INDEPENDENCE
There is a Chinese proverb that says, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” In my classes, I try to get my students to think so that in the future they will not have to rely on others to make their own choices when playing a piece.

- HEALTHY HABITS
Musicians can get hurt if they are not careful, so it is important to have good posture, efficient technique and study method.

- ENJOY
Music should be all about enjoyment. And in lessons too! I like to think I have a good sense of humor, so laughter is guaranteed during lessons too.

- PERSONALIZATION
Teaching is not “one size fits all”. That is why I adapt my lessons for each type of student. Duration, methodology, price and planning are determined based on the student’s needs.

Cello classes are taught at all levels. It doesn't matter if you're a professional musician or not, it's about learning how the cello works and trying to improve while practicing. The main goal is to enjoy through the music. I give lessons at home but I might go to a preferred place if it's not too far.

Hey there! In my lessons, what you want is the most important. That's why we create together a plan of study with ideas, goals and subjects to reach out our dream to make music (that's also my dream)

Nevertheless, I can give you an overview of the content:

I divide the music theory in two: Technical and Musical.
Technical Theory regarding all the concepts and information related to music, and Musical Theory regarding the ideas and concepts to help us understand and improve the performance of music. Besides that, we look to harmony in a functional, rhythmical and organic way. We learn and approach music from the first lesson, looking at it from different angles (understanding rhythm and essence of a song for example). All this plus a nice diet of assignments and exercises: D

Furthermore, we put especial attention to enjoying music. That means playing but also listening music! For me, that's one of the best ways to learn :)

And of course, we learn as well by making mistakes, so at the end it's all about fun and trying things out;)

Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game.
Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:)

I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now!
Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation.
Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works.
This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry.
Music is very powerful!

PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques.

My name is Enrique and I come from Andalucía, Spain. I am a Classical Piano student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I would be pleased to be your teacher. It will be great to teach you how to play your favourite music on the piano, but also about its language, reading and writing, that is, the music theory, or even how to start improvising your own music.

Private lessons from a very experienced bassist with over 10 years of experience performing internationally and more than 5 years as a teacher. The lessons are for all levels, it is not necessary to have previous experience. In the lessons, we'll learn the instrument and musical theory but the main focus is to play and have fun doing so.
