Osian
Cello, singing and theory lessons from bilingual Welsh and English speaker
Hi my name is Osian and I’m a cellist from South Wales. I’ve taught children of many ages and standards and I really feel privileged to be a part of someone’s musical and personal development. Music lessons can be a way of reaching the concert platform or it could be a way of expressing yourself and being creative, wether it’s a career path or not. I grew up playing and singing where my first priority was to fall in love with music and learn to perform it to the best standard that I could do and that’s what I’d like to encourage my students to aim for too. I’m a BMus Hons Scholar from The Royal Academy of Music and I’m not studying at a masters lever at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

From Jazz to Classical: Saxophone lessons in Amsterdam
Jazz Lessons in Amsterdam. Don't wait anymore and start your new hobby! If you love music and you feel the inner urge to learn it, I can help you out. I can teach students from all levels to play the saxophone. From jazz style to classical. After years of studying and practicing, I've come to the conclusion that the best way to learn music is by transcribing and singing. Music is like language, so I start by teaching how to connect the voice with the instrument. In a playful way, I will introduce you to harmony, teach you how to read music, compose your own tunes, and improvise. Side by side with theory according to your musical taste and preferences. I've been learning music since I was 3 years old and recently I've graduated with a Master's Degree at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. Previously, I studied at ESMUC (Barcelona), Kunst Uni Graz (Graz), and Temple University (Philadelphia). I've been a professional performer since 5 years ago and I've performed in several countries around the world.

One-on-one lessons in classical piano playing. Old or modern music, everything is possible!
I have been playing classical piano for 14 years. Obviously a lot solo, but also in ensembles, as an accompanist for flutists, violinists, clarinetists and singers. I was also a paid rehearsal director and pianist for a music theater company for a while and I played concerts in an orchestra. More importantly, I also enjoy teaching! Whether you are just starting out or have been working for some time, together we can tinker with your technique and execution.

The Bass Guitar, Piano, Guitar or Music Theory Course
The Bass guitar lessons are given at all levels from beginners to advanced / professionals. You learn how to play the instrument, with the right attitude and the right technical and theoretical underpinning of everything you want to learn. A somewhat broader music theoretical knowledge can also be taught. Customization is provided to the student's wishes. The music theory lessons provide insight into how western music theory functions and how it is applied in practice. Exercises are also done to develop the hearing and music theoretical exercises are done on the basis of either piano, guitar or bass guitar. The aim is to understand what the theory behind music is and why it functions that way. The Guitar (or Piano) lessons are only given at beginners level. The basic skills of the instrument are taught and an insight is also given into simple music theoretical issues with which the student can benefit from these acquired insights until a much more advanced stage and make faster progress on his/her instrument.
