I teach mainly high school students, but I also teach both younger students and also college level. With already over 7 years of experience teaching in private settings and with a Masters degree in Physics I possess the knowledge that you need to succeed in your specific studies and also know the tools that you need to develop to grow and learn how to think critically, build solid and correct arguments, beneficial in a wide variety of areas in life. I teach you how to master logical thinking and to refine your technical skills in Maths, Physics, and Science in general

A typical class includes:
- discussion of the fundamental concepts to learn and understand;
- specific techniques on how to approach and solve exercises;
- clarification of any doubts/questions, both in theory and exercises;
- development of tools for critical and autonomous thinking;
- development of tools for self study and time management (organizational skills)

I can get you content to study from, but it's best if you bring your own. Regardless, you need to do your self study, your own homework and prepare before class. You need to be autonomous and bring questions to the class. Be curious, ask questions, and that's how you learn.

Über mich

My name is João, I am 26 years old. Ever since I was a kid I liked to learn and study. I have always been very curious and love the beauty of the natural world. This lead me to pursue further education in Physics and eventually Maths.
I also have had this love for teaching since I can remember. I love sharing my knowledge and to create or participate in discussions in which we can see from a different perspective and expand on our understanding and existing knowledge.

I focus to communicate in a simple way, yet I am as precise and accurate as possible. I take as many ways to explain needed for a student to understand the contents and I provide support to each student level, depending on the particular needs.

I did a Yoga Teacher Training and I also teach Yoga. I love philosophy and I try to implement some principles from Yoga in a general class (even a more technical Science class), in order to create the best supporting environment for the student to maximize the efficiency and take aways from class, always in a kind and healthy format, where the student feels seen and his/her needs are met accordingly.

I like to play but I also like to be serious and when it is time to work, and more importantly is knowing how to work. Learn to develop study techniques that will improve your studying and ultimately save you time and turn the learning process more enjoyable!
