Since moving to Rotterdam I have helped many students work towards their English language learning goals. I have experience teaching ESL (English as a second language) for business and regularly help ESL students prepare for interviews. A little about the lessons: I like to use a variety of materials to build my lessons but a typical lesson will focus on a relevant topic to suit your interests and needs, and give you various opportunities to practice listening, comprehension, discussion, formation of complex thoughts and ideas, reading, and building vocabulary. I like to utilize technology when it can be used to enrich the lesson and assign homework as a continuation of our session. *My rate includes our time together as well as additional time spent outside of class preparing your individualized lessons/materials and building a program that works best for your English language learning needs. I offer serious drawing lessons adapted to the level of the student, from the beginner to the young professional through the animation student. During the first lesson, we will talk about the student's expectations and set the artistic objectives by defining a personalized program. I would assess the level of the student, his strengths and weaknesses for a tailor-made course, taking into account to nourish his universe and his sensitivities with a background both cultural and technical. I teach both the basics of solid drawing to beginners (perspective, proportion, composition, volume, anatomy, gesture, posing, principles of animation ...) as well as to students / future students in animation cinema, to young professionals who want to specialize in storyboard or who have questions about how to develop a TV pitch. For the storyboard part, my specialty, I will teach the basics of cinematographic language (types of framing, transitions, camera movement ...) and I will follow with basic exercises to be able to make parts of portfolio. Trusted teacher: I give with great pleasure and passion oboe lessons for budding musicians of all ages and all levels - from total beginner oboist to very advanced level - through progressive lessons, based on the instrumental technique of the oboe and the development of musical expression on the instrument. I am patient and attentive, and I consider that it is obviously essential to adapt to the objectives and personality of the student. My pedagogy is based on the exchange, the development of the listening of the feelings with the instrument, the methodology in the work which leads to the effectiveness, and naturally the pleasure which the practice of the oboe gets. I seek to transmit to the student the simple and effective technical and musical tools that will allow him to quickly be as autonomous as possible in his personal work outside of oboe lessons. I also play during the lesson, in order to guide the student as well as possible, and sometimes also to have him play in a duet and develop listening and collective practice. Best way to learn a laungage is from a native speaker. Rosa was very professional always arriving on time and having a clear plan on how the lesson will progress.
