As for English, I was raised in an international school environment where English was a core part of my education from childhood through high school. I earned my TOEFL certificate before beginning my current bachelor’s studies, which are entirely in English. I've also taught English with a focus on pronunciation, grammar, syntax, and practical communication skills. TUTORING SET-UP When tutoring, I place strong emphasis on tracking progress, often by assigning homework (if agreed upon) and creating clear, structured plans to help students stay on track. I’m always flexible and happy to adapt to each learner’s feedback and preferences to make lessons as enjoyable and engaging as possible. I offer lessons online or in person—either at my place or yours. Thanks to my bilingual upbringing (with a German mother) and my French-German high school diploma (AbiBac), I can also provide instruction in German if needed. You can spend a delicious time and an appetizing experience while enjoying the meal that you just learned how to prepare. They are so good so you will definitely want to make them again. I offer different options for your cooking class depending both on your taste and your budget. The classes are approximately 2 or 3 hours long, including the preparation of the meal and the eating (dinner or lunch). We will decide the dish and the ingredients together each time. <a list of some popular Korean dishes> - pork ribs marinated with soy sauce-based Korean sauce - seasoned beef with lots of veggies (bulgogi) - Stir-fried glass noodle with veggies and meat (Japchae) - Korean sushi with lots of veggies and meat in it (Kimbap) - Rice mixed with various veggies and Korean pepper paste (bibimbap) - Spicy sticky rice cake with veggies (Ddeokbokki) - Crispy fried chicken with sweet-sour sauce (Dakgangjeong) - Stir-fried chicken breast with sweet potato (Dak gaseumsal bokkem) - Korean traditional pumpkin porridge (Hobakjook) - Mushroom pakchoi shabushabu (shabushabu) - Korean black bean noodle with meal and veggies (Jja jang myeon) - Kimchi - Korean curry - Seaweed beef soup (miyeok guk) - Korean new year soup (ddeok guk) - Korean miso soup (dwen jang kuk) During the cooking class, you can not only learn how to make the dishes but also Korean table manners. Vero is fantastic. I had more than 10 teachers of French over the years and she is by far the best. She is patient and she corrects my mistakes gently. In addition, she writes down her corrections in a Google Doc file and I get to study my mistakes after our lessons. This is something no other French teacher has done before. It is important to learn from the mistakes so that I do not repeat them again. On top of all, she has a great set of online exercises that I do to advance my French. I feel lucky to have found her....

I've had a few lessons with Sammy so far, and I’m positively surprised by how great the experience has been. Lamia is an excellent teacher!! Thanks to her skills and knowledge, my 12-year-old improved her writing skills. Lamia is patient, and is willing to work until the goals are reached. She helped my daughter to understand her weak points, increase her vocabulary, and use more descriptive and creative language in her writing assignments.
