Watercolor painting is particularly therapeutic as we explore the properties of watercolors through mark-making techniques which we can later apply in our more elaborate paintings. At present, I only offer outdoor sketching and painting sessions around London parks and green spaces. It's also a very enjoyable way of appreciating nature while learning a new skill. I will help you set up your easel if you are using one and help you set up for a successful outdoor session. When working outdoors weather conditions are often not ideal, wind, rain, too hot, too cold..etc. I will help you work with the elements which might just produce some of your best work as you work faster and more freely. There is nothing like capturing the atmosphere of a place on location. By working en plein air you are also telling a visual story of the place. Ideal for visual storytellers, illustrators, bloggers, or anyone interested in gaining more confidence painting on location. I recommend a minimum of 2-hour session. Longer sessions can be arranged also. Sessions can be booked in advance.

It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity.
