I explain the grammar by giving you the rules and examples from everyday life and from pop music. We will make exercises from your own workbook to see if you understand it and you can learn from mistakes so that you don't make them again on your test. We will also practice reading texts from old exams because that will be your final exam later on. Usually the grades of my tutors go up quickly. I come to the student's home to give tutoring at the table in the afternoon.

Learning Chinese isn't as stressful as it seems. The key is to have fun and to constantly practice with a native speaker. I teach Chinese for both speaking, writing and reading. I have been tutoring Chinese for years and I have designed various exercises for learning Pinyin, practicing standard pronunciation with gesture as well as daily communicative exercises. During the lesson, I'd love to my students to speak Chinese as much as they can. Trust me, It's the best way to learn. I also plan game&movie events regularly to help my students get a closer look to the culture.

ITALIAN. For different skill levels: From basic introduction to in-depth exploration of the language, its history and development, Latin etymologies, examples in literature (classic, modern and contemporary). If you have interest in this language for either practical purposes or passion, but in any case you like to learn beyond the surface, learning with me is a good choice. The class includes blocks of Italian grammar, syntax, lexicon, as well as writing, reading and oral practice. For further interest the class can go in depth consulting literary texts from classical authors such as Dante, Petrarca, Boccaccio as well as modern authors such as Manzoni, D'Annunzio, Pirandello, and even more recent ones such as Italo Calvino, Umberto Eco and Pier Paolo Pasolini. I am open to consult Italian texts (as well proposed by the student) and together conduct an analysis of their use of Italian, in relation to each text's specific historical and geopolitical context. I am Italian of origins, I speak fluent English and basic French. I have a strong interest in language and literature, culture and visual arts.

I am a copywriter and a creative by profession, not a traditional teacher, and for many people, that is precisely the reason to choose me. English is the language in which I work daily. I studied and lived in it (film school in London) and worked internationally for ten years: on brands, campaigns, and even the original concept for a TV format. I offer two things that complement each other well. On the English side: learning to speak naturally, increased self-confidence, and practical writing such as work emails, presentations, and pitches, built around real-life situations rather than dry exercises from a book. On the storytelling side: copywriting, brand and personal stories, content that sticks, motivational texts, and scripts. Ideas, structure, voice, and impact. Come for one thing, another, or both. Every lesson is one-on-one and fully tailored to your goals. Ideal for professionals, expats, entrepreneurs, and creators. Also for sharpening your CV, LinkedIn profile, or cover letter: I help you put yourself on paper clearly and convincingly. Teenagers are also welcome for help with writing: essays, school texts, or a first CV. I work on clarity, structure, and confidence on paper—not exam training, but learning to write more effectively.

• Is your English pronunciation holding you back? • Do people misunderstand you and ask you to repeat yourself? • Do you notice that people get tired listening to you? • Do you feel judged before you even finish speaking? I’m Tom, a native English speaker from the south of England. I've developed my methods from a double master's degree in English and Applied Linguistics plus 13 years of teaching. My methods are always backed by research, experience and student feedback. ❗ 45-minute lessons are via Zoom only I offer one-to-one English accent coaching personalised for your needs and goals. I will help you correctly produce the sounds of English so that you can immediately start speaking with more clarity, confidence, and control – and without feeling awkward or anxious. Although I take coaching seriously, and I want you to as well, my classes are also light-hearted and warm. People learn best when they’re enjoying themselves and feeling deeply interested, and that is my promise to you. I will correct your mistakes, but I will never shame or embarrass you for making them. My class is a place where people come to feel good and grow confidence. ⭐ English Pronunciation and Accent Coaching / Training / Reduction with a Qualified Expert Native Teacher WHAT WILL I LEARN? • Change key vowel and consonant sounds that cause misunderstandings • Control your rhythm, intonation and pausing • Build links between your hearing and speech muscles • Breathe comfortably and strengthen your voice • Adapt your voice appropriately for different purposes – meetings, interviews, presentations, pitches, conversations, and more ➡️ Fast pronunciation improvements – our main goal at all times WILL I SOUND 100% NATIVE? ❗Research shows that for most adult speakers, it's just not possible after our teenage years to develop a fully native accent. So, honest accent coaching is not about training you to sound native. Instead, a good coach will train you to be understood by as many people as possible and communicate exactly what you intend. That means fixing problematic sounds and expanding your range of vocal styles by borrowing from voice acting techniques, from sounding authoritative and executive to warm and supportive. If you do want to sound native, I can still help you – whichever accent you prefer – from the UK, USA, Australia or anywhere else. I can train you in the accent of your choice. If your native language is very close to English, like Dutch, or you have a sharp ear for sounds and mimicry, you may be able to develop a native-like accent as an adult. In our first session, you can take a specialised test to discover if this could be you. WHAT ARE YOUR METHODS? I've developed my methods from a double master's degree in English and Applied Linguistics plus 13 years of teaching. My methods are always backed by research, experience and student feedback. • I use modern evidence-based methods • I create my own original training materials tailored to YOUR individual language background, goals, requirements and preferences • I offer a customised course specifically for you, not a one-size-fits-all package • You’ll start with controlled practice to master new sounds, then move into spontaneous speech so that these skills become part of your everyday speaking habits Curious to learn more or not sure if you need coaching? Send me a message and I'll be happy to give you my honest opinion.

Let's enjoy French culture together! I believe immersion is the best way for learning a new language, so let me bring France to you through lessons and fun activities! Cooking traditional dishes with French recipes, analyzing the lyrics of French songs and poems, watching cult French cinematographic works, and so on. I can also adapt my teaching with a more academic approach of course. Vocabulary and grammar are on the programme as well.
