Piano Classes
Professional Pianist, Opera Singer, composer and soloist at Madrid ́s Opera House, Innsbruck and Glyndebourne festivals and at the National Music Auditorium of Moscow, winner of many international competitions and a qualified teacher at Kiev and Valencia High Conservatories (Bachelor and Masters Degrees) offers piano, singing and Sol-Fa lessons for all styles, levels and ages!
My piano classes are structured so that students work on the most important aspects of training as a pianist and are tailored to the needs of the student. I give great importance to developing self motivation in a relaxed environment that encourages creative flow throughout the learning process. Repertoire is agreed with the student and adapted to the style of music preferred, together with student needs and objectives. Learn how to play the piano effortlessly and to express what you have inside!
I aim to cater to the tastes and needs of students in an open and individual way and have a Yamaha grand piano that students can enjoy playing on when face to face classes are again possible.
The principles of piano technique I teach are:
- Simplicity and naturalness of playing
- Discover your own style – you don ́t need to imitate!
- Posture, relaxation and stretching
- Improvisation – confidence to experiment

I am Konstantin Derri, a professional opera singer, countertenor, pianist and singing teacher with more than 23 years of teaching experience.
I have developed an international career as a solo singer, performing at major theatres and festivals throughout Europe, including the Teatro Real and Teatros del Canal in Madrid, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, Teatro Comunale di Bologna and Theater an der Wien, as well as major concert halls in Madrid, Moscow and other European cities.
I am the winner of the 2nd Prize at the International Pietro Antonio Cesti Competition for Baroque Opera in Innsbruck, as well as other international singing competitions.
My education includes advanced studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia, where I studied with Professor Ana Luisa Chova, as well as studies at the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in Kyiv. I have continued my professional development through masterclasses with renowned specialists in vocal technique and Early Music, including Richard Levitt of the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.

In recent years I have also trained in coaching and personal development techniques focused on communication and confidence.
I work with people who experience nervousness, insecurity or fear when speaking in front of others. Therefore, my work is not limited to singers.

We work on voice, breathing, presence, confidence and natural communication.
