Trusted teacher: The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request. The general theoretical objectives of the course: --- Tuning / tuning and knowing his guitar: * Standard Tuning * Drop Tuning * Open Tuning * Adjust the optimal tension of the strings * Adjust the shaft axis * Adjust the action of the strings * Choose the strings adapted to the style of play / tuning * Change his strings -Know his chords: * Triads: Fundamental State & Inversions * Tetrads: Fundamental State & Inversions * The chord progressions of the Range * Arpeggio techniques (tapping, sweep, 1/2/4 fing.shape, etc ...) --- Know his scales and his modes * The Mode of the Major scale * 3 Modes of the Minor scale: Natural / Melodic / Harmonic * Modes of the Pentatonic range: 5 positions * Modes of the Blues range: 5 positions Etc ... --- Technique to the Pick / Plectrum / Tab / Pick (Electric Guitar): * Alternate Picking * Fast Picking / Tremolo Picking * Hybrid Picking * Palm Mute * Natural Harmonics * Pinch Harmonics * Artificial Harmonics * Shredding * Tapping * Sweep Picking * Legato Picking --- Strumming / Hand Picking (Acoustic Guitar) * "SnareDrum" percussion on the guitar * Arpeggios pinched with 4 fingers + thumb * Rasgueado (Flamenco Technique) * Generic Strumming * Fingerstyle Picking * Two-finger picking + Legato for fast melodies (eg a solo) -Play the metronome * exercises on click * practice on song riffs -Learn his favorite songs * without thinking about the difficulty, nothing is impossible with the right methodology -Improvise * choose ranges and positions * to place oneself rhythmically, to finish on the judicious notes -Theory of Harmony * Understand harmonization and its practice -Theory on the Melody -Theory of Rhythm

Trusted teacher: Hey! I am Seppe, songwriter and producer from Ghent, living in Brussels, with a master's degree in music production. During my studies at the Conservatory in Ghent, I acquired a wide range of skills that I will pass on to you with great pleasure and patience! The most important thing for me is always creativity and musicality. In doing so, we look at your personal needs and adapt the program to suit you. This can be about songwriting, producing or music theory, possibly in combination with a basic guitar or piano lesson. You are also welcome if you want to start with just one instrument. You indicate what you would like to learn more, and I will adjust where necessary. All levels are welcome. First we have an introductory meeting and we look at what would be a good process for you. If you already have demo recordings, you can definitely bring them. Below are some examples of what we can do in a lesson: - Take your self-written song to the next level. Song structure, lyrics, melody and chords are covered here. - You bring a demo to class and you get feedback. Based on this, you will continue to work with it at home and we will look at the evolutions in the next lesson. - Learn to work with a DAW. I specialize most in Logic or Pro Tools. We learn how to record, arrange, edit and mix. - Music theory - Guitar or piano lessons The lessons can take place at my home or at your home. If on relocation I will charge a small surcharge for travel and time costs. Feel free to send a message if you are interested! Greetings, Sep

In the same school I also concluded my Master in performance practice with highest marks and Great Distinction in October 2016. During the last year I got a second Master at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels with Highest Distinction under the guidance of Antigoni Goni. I'm now a Postgraduate student in the same institution, focusing my attention on teaching research for chamber music. I attended masterclasses with Andrea Dieci, Bruno Giuffredi, Lorenzo Micheli, Matteo Mela, Carlo Marchione, Giulio Tampalini, Francesco Molmenti, Marcin Dylla, Pavel Steidl, Margarita Escarpa, Leo Brouwer, Sergio and Odair Assad, Elena Papandreu. I participated and won many competitions in Chamber music category between 2012 and 2015. I got my High-School Degree in Pedagogic science and I have always had a particular predisposition to teach. I started teaching at the age of 20 in Private Academies and Music Schools in Italy. I have The age range of my students was between 6 to 70 years old. I base my all my lessons on the interests and personal requests of each student, focusing on the importance of being able to read music scores through the importance of solfeggio and music theory. I'm very openminded to any kind of music style (from Baroc music to Spanish/Brasilian popular music) and I think the most important thing is to accept student's motivations. I can teach on Tuesday and Thursday (preferably) and on the other days after 18:00.

Trusted teacher: Hello everyone ! I am 39 years old, I am a professional guitarist and graduate composer. My rich and varied musical journey, going from "Art Rock" to Classic, passing by French song and currently jazz allowed me to acquire a beautiful experience that I like to share with my students. Obviously passionate about my favorite instrument, I am just as passionate about music theory. From baroque counterpoint to jazz harmony, from classical orchestration to digital music publishing, I have always thought that understanding the sound universe multiplies perspectives, opens up new horizons! My method is simple and has always proven to be effective: working in symbiosis with pure instrumental technique and the general understanding of music, its cogs which seem to the novice musician so mysterious. In addition to basic instrument learning, I also teach: 🎸️ Experimental instrumental techniques 🎸️ Work of virtuosity 🎸️ Picking game 🎤️ How to go well with singing 🎵️ Arrangement 🎵️ Composition 🎵️ Harmony (classical or jazz) 🎵️ Improvisation 💻️ MAO (Computer Aided Music) Exploring musical styles: #Pop #EXP #Classique #Electro #Jazz #Jazz Manouche #Art & Hard Rock #Chanson Française #Blues #Funk (60's / 70's) 🎥️ Possibility of lessons by webcam ️🇬🇧️ I also speak English 🏡️ I give lessons mainly at my home: Châtelain district in Ixelles, many transport nearby: 🚊️ bus (54), tram (92, 94, 81.) and metro (Louise). 🐸️ GREAT BEGINNERS welcome! (no prior knowledge necessary) See you soon !

Lou-Indigo
Lou-Indigo is hands-down the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning music from. Having been taught by a number of music teachers for a variety of different instruments, I have experienced a range of different teaching styles and personalities, yet nobody has been able to keep me focused and captivated by music in the way that Lou-Indigo does. In the past, music lessons would always bore me, as I found that my perspective of music being an outlet of creativity would often be tarnished by previous teachers who took too much of a strict, structural approach to music. On the other hand, some other teachers would be too relaxed, often leading to me becoming frustrated by a lack of progress and direction. Lou-Indigo manages to skillfully combine structure, creativity and a relaxed atmosphere into a 60-minute lesson. I am the complete opposite of bored and genuinely look forward to every lesson. Instead of feeling drained after sessions, I feel inspired to learn more. In my opinion, Lou-Indigo does this by crafting just the right amount of challenge into each exercise, enough to give you a sense of progress and achievement, but not too much to make you feel frustrated or overly daunted. Furthermore, his clear explanation of music theory and guitar techniques, evidently backed by years of experience, gives you a deeper insight into music, uncovering the medium's potential for creative expression. I could not recommend Lou-Indigo more.

I'm a professional lute and guitar player and i give guitar, theory and solfege lessons (Brussels)
Giorgos
Giorgos has continually shown in every class I've taken with him to have a very good rapport with students and great teaching competence, showing the ability to explain topics, questions and mistakes in a way that the student understands and learns from. He's supportive of the level of knowledge, goals and the different musical tastes of students, allowing the diversification of the topics and repertoire studied in class, thus creating an excellent learning environment. In short simply 10/10. Excellent professor! Definitely recommend him to those who want to learn or/and better their skills at the instrument.

Professional guitarist graduated from the Conservatory (DEM in France) gives guitar lessons all styles and all levels in Brussels (Etterbeek)
Jacob
Already from the first lesson with Jacob he was capable of quickly assessing my level and provide a plan for how I could continue my guitar playing. The lesson included a good mix of relevant theory, music analysis, practical exercises and jamming. I look forward to keep working with Jacob and would highly recommend him to others.
