I try to use a build up method of learning where I explain bit by but how to move and what muscles you need to work with
Then build one move over the other.
Sessions about music and how to understand it and how to dance on it is a crucial part to elevate you dance level especially if you are not exposed to Arabic music.
You learn all about hip and shoulders shimmies, hip movements, different figure 8, isolation and waves.

My Name is Kendrick, as a son of two Latin dance school owners I have more than 20 years of experience with various dancing styles. I am a passionate Latin dance teacher for over 9 years. I love to teach since I have seen the beauty and social development that dance brings into people's lives.

Dance is way more than just learning to dance. It's a way of completely forgetting your worries, being sportive in a fun way, improving your confidence and self-consciousness, and much more. So don't hesitate to get started. Let's dance!

I started my journey of learning how to shuffle/cut shapes a little over a year and a half ago and it ignited a flame of passion in me like nothing had in a very long time. I'd say it's turned into a somewhat spiritual experience for me. Although there is of course still a lot for me to learn and improve on and I feel like my journey has just started, I feel confident that I can help others get started on their own journey. My fundamentals as well as my knowledge and understanding of the dance are pretty solid and I would never try to teach you something that is outside of my expertise. I think at the end of the day though, the most important thing with dance is to just have fun and to learn to find confidence and freedom in your expression through it, so most of all I hope I can help you find that.
