My name is Vanessa. I am french.
I am currently living in Tokyo with a working visa.
I teach french to adults, high schoolers and middle schoolers as a private teacher.
In France, I lived in Versailles where I was also a teacher, specialized in design (fashion, product design, architecture, art…).
I worked in high schools.
I studied arts (les beaux arts) in high school. After graduation, I specialized myself in design, and particularly in textile design.
I have a BTS Design in fashion and textile (diploma in textile design. printing, woven, textile ennoblement) and a D.S.A.A. (higher diploma in applied arts to become a textile conceptor and creator).
I also hold a DAEFLE degree ( Teaching French as a foreign language degree).
I have a good level in english.
During the lesson we can work on vocabulary, prononciation, conjugation, spelling, improving the learning of speaking and writing common and polite french, ...
But also introduce to french culture, artistic french culture, french way of life.
I speak slowly, according to the level of the student. I repeat as frequently as it is necessary and explain in different ways if a notion, a word.... is not understood.
I am patient, efficient and motivated with a good sense of communication.
I am using ÉDITO, AMICAL and VITE ET BIEN as educational books and audio CD, but also various press articles, websites, videos, movies extracts in relation with news, needs of the student, and his/her interests.
The student alway leave with notes and little homework to do for the next time.
