Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. Together we can develop your skill as a cello player, building a strong technical and musical foundation. We will find a learning style that best suits you. We can study the cello repertoire and traditional techniques and we can also explore the cello in less traditional ways - improvising, writing music, using electronics and combining it with other instruments.

With beginner saxophone students, we will first work on proper instrument holding and posture. Then, before blowing into the saxophone, we will practice long-tone exercises using the mouthpiece. Once comfortable with these fundamentals, we will start producing sound from the instrument and learning the notes. We will focus on long-tone exercises to develop control and consistency. We gradually start incorporating short exercises or simple melodies as the student progresses. Learning and progressing on an instrument mostly depends on the student's dedication and practice habits. If you love music and commit time to it, you can reach a good level in a short period!
