Hi! I'm Mary and I aspire to be a teacher in a primary school. While I am still in education, though, I would still love to help out as many kids as possible, so whether you need someone to boost your child's understanding of their lessons in school or you just need someone to sit with them and talk through their homework or listen to them read, I'd love to help out. Thanks for considering me to be a part of your child's valuable education, Mary :-)

About Me
Hi! My name is Mary and I aspire to become a primary school teacher. However, while I am still in education, I would love to be able to help children to learn whilst getting some work experience behind me. I have been tutoring my sister and my cousins during lockdown when they could not go to school, and I have realised that I love doing it. I would love to carry on helping out busy parents and children by helping with homework or if they're behind in class. I have been raised by teachers and teaching is in my blood, so I would love it if you considered my help.
Education
I am currently studying English Language, Mathematics and Psychology. Before this, I studied Musical Theatre, however I decided that being on the stage wasn't for me; I would rather teach the stars of tomorrow than reach stardom today.
Experience / Qualifications
I have been teaching my cousins and my sister over the lockdown period, and I have spent the last few years volunteering to help out in my dance school for the little ones' classes.

Currently pursuing a BA Drama degree at the University of Manchester, I've studied higher level English under the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) and will make you love the language through some fun games and exercises that will rapidly strengthen your fluency of English. Classes will be online and flexible depending on the student's requirements and can be conducted as many times a week as required. The regular structure is 60 minutes per day but this can be adjusted based on the student.

Classes will be held online and will be flexible based on the students' requirements. The time period will range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes per day and sessions can be scheduled based on the students' needs and urgency. My classes won't be too time consuming or stressful, as my aim is to teach the language but also make the child love the process of learning it. Classes will include fun exercises and games that made learning English a lot more easier and increase the fluency. Since I have studied English at primary, secondary, and an International (IBDP) level, I will make sure to transfer the skills of English writing and speaking proficiency as well as reading and essay writing skills, complemented by several fun conversations in English. Classes will also include getting the student to watch clips of Hollywood movies and reading extracts from novels to increase their language capabilities. By the end of the sessions, students will definitely have learned a significant amount of the language which will keep progressing and getting stronger as we continue our sessions.
