To all children who simply want to progress!

I offer courses that allow you to strengthen knowledge, overcome difficulties, or learn more or differently than at school.

Here we learn while having fun!

ATTENTION. I can give lessons at home if you live in Saint-Denis la Chevasse.
Extra information
Having your own equipment is recommended for comfort but not obligatory. For the youngest, I will mainly use slates. Once again, I can bring them if necessary. Do not hesitate to send me photos of the English lessons received at school.

About Me
I want my student to enjoy working. I use stimulating methods that have been beneficial to me and seek to always renew myself if necessary. Listening to the students, I work at their pace: if they need to review a point that we have seen together before, they just have to ask. I am not looking for students to become excellent: simply for them to learn new things, progress as much as they can and wish, and overcome their difficulties.
Education
I have level C1 in English. I will also, in 2024, take my LLCE English baccalaureate. The latter consisted of an oral exam where we presented works in English, as well as a written test where we analyzed works. So I have solid strengths in literature.
Experience / Qualifications
From 2022 to 2024, I was part of the European class of my high school. I therefore took a historical and geographical approach to the English-speaking world. I also participated in an exchange in the Netherlands, in which I lived with a Dutch pen pal.

Camille
I have been teaching French since 2016, first through tutoring, then in middle and high schools in France and the United States. I am trained and specialized in bilingual teaching. My students generally already have a solid foundation in French (coming from schools offering language immersion), but I am used to helping students for whom French is a second or foreign language.

I hold a degree in modern literature and a Master's degree in Language Sciences focused on teaching French in monolingual and multilingual contexts.

I speak English fluently. My training as an English teacher combines theory and practice: it was first done intensively during my high school studies, then through frequent stays abroad. I lived and taught French for 4 years in Los Angeles and New Jersey.

The operation of the support course is determined before the start of the lessons, in agreement with the parents, according to the needs of the student and the desired objectives. This can consist of in-depth help with homework, monitoring of already structured courses (e.g.: exam preparation, CNED program) or tailor-made courses, according to your objectives. The duration of the sessions can be one to two hours depending on the concentration and the dispositions of the student (the duration of the session is fixed at the beginning of the partnership between the parents of the student and myself) to ensure effective work and monitoring. I am able to work on the basics of the language (grammar, spelling, conjugation, phonetics, reading, etc.) as well as preparation for French exams (essay, writing, commentary, French oral, etc.) or international exams (DELF / DALF, TOEFL, IELTS, level certificates, etc.).
