Hello, I'm Lucas.

I am currently completing a PhD in Engineering at the University of Oxford, after previously studying at the University of Cambridge. Alongside my research, I have spent several years helping students with mathematics, physics, and engineering.

I enjoy teaching because I know how challenging technical subjects can sometimes feel. My goal is to make complex concepts easier to understand, build confidence, and help students develop a solid way of thinking about problems rather than relying on memorisation.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I offer friendly and supportive maths lessons for young children from Kindergarten up to Year 3 level.
