This class is to help those studying Dutch at various levels. I'm currently a student of Modern Languages at university, and I was brought up in the Netherlands and have studied it to a high level of fluency.

The focus of this class is to improve fluency in a friendly and relaxing setting, as well as improving technical aspects like grammar at the student's pace. All levels are welcome from absolute beginner to advanced. My goal is to get students to reach a high level of language without feeling pressured or overworked, and to get them comfortable in using the language with native speakers in everyday settings.

I am currently a student studying Modern Languages, namely Spanish, German and Dutch.

I have been interested in teaching for a long time and I am currently a Language Ambassador with my university. What this means is that I go into schools and talk with children and teenagers about the importance of language learning, as well as devising lesson plans and activities to help them with their language development.

As a teacher I try to get my students to relax as much as possible and learn languages with little pressure. Homework can be set if the student requires it. I try to tailor lessons to each student's individual need and requirement so that they can achieve their linguistic goals at their pace.

I am also saving up for my TEFL qualification, which I hope to achieve next year.

Through this class I hope to help strengthen and refine the student's English skills. This class will be flexible and catered to the student's needs, whether that be test preparation, grammar, CV help or just general chats to improve your English!

I am a native English speaker looking for more experience teaching and tutoring before I start by TEFL course. This course will be challenging and vary according to the student, but a typical class will consist of a chat, followed by a grammar topic, followed by a pre-set homework assignment discussion. Example of homework may be to write a short essay, or to read an article. All levels welcome!

I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

I am a Belgian (Flemish) and French student with a Masters in International Public Law (Amsterdam) and a Masters in Global development (University of Copenhagen). 2021-2022:
I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus.

2021:
Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French.

2017-2020:
I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English.

During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework.
