Maths is a highly useful skill in all areas of life as well as most fields of industry. Maths has been a passion of mine since my school days where I managed to achieve an A at A-level in one year. My focus was mechanics and calculus but my teaching skills extend to all levels of from A-level below. My focus on teaching is to try and bring maths alive with the more fascinating ways in which different areas of maths can conjoin and impact the real world. Why are beehives hexagonal shaped for example? Why do spider webs mimic certain road maps? I've been a chess tutor as well as a maths tutor for some years and enjoy the process of teaching, having taught students as young as 5 all the way up to adults. Recent graduate from a French engineering school, I am now a postgraduate student at Imperial College. I have always loved mathematics and I would like to share my love for the science with anyone who needs it. My goal is to make maths and physics simpler and funnier to study in order to help as many students as I can. I have already given mathematics classes in France and have developed a certain way of working. Usually, I first go over the lecture with the student, we read the principles and I take as much time is needed to answer any questions they might have. Then, we move on to exercises for the student to practice and apply what was learned in the lecture. The only key really in to go at your pace, there is no rush and the goal is for you to reach the understanding you desire.
