From a personal perspective, social sciences, regardless of GCSE or A-level, require enormous reading and understanding of the texts, critical thinking and writing. These are crucial to students' performances for their exams. With a background in A-level History and Politics, I have designed this course with the purpose of helping GCSE and A-level students understand the texts they are required to read and grasp the essential logical reasoning and language needed to structure their essays.

French and (British) English native. I spent the past 6 years in London studying Politics and lived in Paris for a year to undertake internships in Finance. I am now back in London for the first semester of my Master's in Management until August.

I have 5+ years of experience tutoring students of various ages (from 4 to 40+) as I used to work free lance for the tutoring company Enjoy Education based in Chelsea. There I tutored French, English, Business, Political Science, Political Economy and Social Pyschology.

I am a Teaching Associate and Writing Tutor at a London University. I have been teaching History and Essay Writing to undergraduate students for the past three years. I also have experience tutoring children and teenagers to help them prepare for their exams (GCSE, A-Level, Brevet, Baccalauréat).

I strongly believe the student should be at the centre of the tutor’s attention and planning every step of the way. Every tutee is different, and I will always spend the first hour discussing what their expectations are, what has worked best for them until then, and what they are struggling with. If their attention span is short, I will make sure to both work with it by adapting my lessons and work to improve it over time. If exam anxiety prevents them from achieving the results they could, I will include regular mock exams.
I want my tutees to feel at ease and stress-free during our lessons, and making our time together safe and comfortable is crucial to me.

Hello, after having done a preparatory literary class, I am currently in the last year of philosophy and art history at UCL. I would like to help with homework or French lessons for children from French-speaking families or not living in London. From initiation to French to homework help until the final year (in French, English literature, history and political science), I am very flexible on the formats of the courses. Hello,

I offer one-to-one private tuition to university students and adults in Political Science, Essay/Dissertation-writing, Political Economy, Economics, and European Studies.

I have 15 years of experience in high-quality private tuition, and I am also a Lecturer in EU Politics at one of the world’s leading universities (University College London).

My main areas of specialization are European Union politics and political economy, but I also regularly teach all other areas of Political Science, including Public Policy, Comparative Politics, Introduction to Politics, Populism, Democratisation, and many more. In addition, I teach Economics at a beginner/intermediate level.

I can also help with dissertations and essays, at the undergraduate, Master or Ph.D. level. The feedback which I received from students taught in the past was very positive. In particular, I was told that my teaching had inspired students, and had made complex subjects appear simple and interesting.

My approach to teaching is results-focused. I first discuss with the student what are his/her objectives (this may be achieving top marks on a final exam, being able to undertake exercises given as homework, or increasing their understanding of certain aspects of a subject). We then devise together a work plan, to ensure that the student meets those goals.

This approach has been very successful in the past, as it is not only important to understand a certain subject, but also to be prepared for the particular type of examination or assessment that the student will need to face.

I have a Ph.D. in Political Economy from Utrecht University, a master's in European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, and a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE).

I teach either in person in London (ideally at UCL), or via email exchanges for written advice. Unfortunately I do not offer online classes.

LNAT exam preparation - I am a highly experienced LNAT tutor, having logged 120+ hours of teaching the exam (as well as sitting it myself and obtaining 28/42, 16% higher than the cohort average). I have helped students gain admission to the University of Bristol, King's College London and Oxford University via LNAT tuition, with my tutees achieving scores as high as 31/42.

I am a highly passionate and committed history student at UCL fuelled with a desire to share my educational expertise with GCSE and A-Level History and/or French students. As a previous high-achieving and enthusiastic GCSE and A-Level student that achieved nine 9’s at GCSE and two A* and one A at A-Level, I believe that the knowledge and advice I have acquired would be extremely beneficial and I am thus eager to support students in fulfilling their academic aspirations.

My tutoring sessions will be highly flexible in terms of hours and location, and specifically tailored to suit the needs of the individual student. Whether this may be covering specific content that the student may feel less confident with, or regular exam practice through attempting exam-style questions and past papers both individually and collaboratively.
