Hello everyone!
Soc l'Annkathrin, it took 35 years and 11 years that I visited Barcelona here. Soc from a town near Hamburg, but I will live and study French for 5 years. Here in Barcelona I have been working as a professor in various academies and as a classroom professor at the Zürich Schule Barcelona.
I also have experience at the university level.
I have always done things related to teaching (assistant conversation in Paris while carrying out studies, babysitting in German/English, different workshops, assistant German teacher in a daycare center in Sant Cugat, reinforcement classes, private classes...,).
I have a degree in Anglophone Philology and am planning to take a master's degree in linguistics. More and more, he will receive a specialization course in literary translation (Catalan-Germany) subsidized by the Ramon Llull Institute. I love the languages and I hope to greatly appreciate both learning and teaching. I place great importance on a pleasant and cordial learning environment and it is important to create a positive relationship with my students with the German language. During the pandemic, I have been able to learn many things related to online classes and have to serve different classes because classes are always diverse and with recreational activities to practice the grammatical contingencies of students in class or to review vocabulary, practice oral production, etc. What we do is to serve online classes that most resemble an in-person class with the mateixa having fun, but every time we go home we have complete comfort and risk. Ultimately, everything is about adapting to the circumstances and creating more experience!
See you soon!
---CAST---Hello everyone!
My name is Annkathrin, I'm 35 years old, and I've lived here in Barcelona for 11 years. I'm from a small town near Hamburg, but I lived and studied in France for 5 years. Here in Barcelona, I've worked as a teacher in several academies and as a teacher in the reception classroom at the Zurich School Barcelona.
I also have experience in the university setting.
I have always done things related to teaching (conversation assistant in Paris, where I did my studies, German/English babysitter, various workshops, assistant German teacher in a nursery in Sant Cugat, reinforcement classes, private classes...).
I have a degree in English Philology and a Master's in Linguistics. I also completed a specialization course in literary translation (Catalan-German) subsidized by the Institut Ramon Llull. I love languages and I'm very dedicated to both learning and teaching. I place great importance on creating a pleasant and friendly learning environment, and I want my students to develop a positive relationship with the German language. The pandemic has allowed me to learn many things related to online teaching, and I use different tools to ensure my classes are always varied and include fun activities that allow students to practice the grammar covered in class, review vocabulary, practice speaking, and so on. Any resource I can use helps me make online classes as similar as possible to in-person classes, with the same level of enjoyment, but from the comfort of their own homes and without any risks. Ultimately, it's all about adapting to the circumstances and gaining valuable experience from them.
