I have a background in diplomacy and international relations but a deep love for communications and languages.
My classes are tailored to your needs.
We do an assessment during the first chat and then we choose together the right method: classes with a mix of audio, and video lessons and or just a lot of conversation covering phrases, vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. I've been teaching Italian for over 5 years, armed with a Double Degree in Languages, plus not one, but two Masters in teaching Italian! 🎓 🇮🇹 And here's the ciliegina sulla torta: I just kicked off a BSc in International Communication.

I have successfully completed 6 VWO and passed an English Cambridge exam.
Currently, I am a law student with a passion for languages, geology and history and I like to share the knowledge - in peace and with full understanding of the student - and together I look for the best method to make this work!

I have been working as a tutor for primary and secondary school students for more than 5 years and have experience with people / children who have difficult learning, have little motivation or where the penny has just not yet fallen.

I can tutor kids and students on different academic subjects:
1) for kids in elementary and middle school I can help them doing homework in almost all subjects
2) for students of high school I can give them lessons of Italian, English and History
I have been tutoring middle school and high school students for some time now and, as I like it very much, I would love to continue doing so.

Who? I am a twenty-eight-year-old French and U.S. Anthropology student. I am trained in FLE (French as a Second Language) and have worked for the National French Education Ministry as a Middle School Teacher on the beautiful island of Mayotte. Following that exotic experience, I decided to change course and study Anthropology all the while teaching French as a Second Language on a freelance basis. I moved to the Netherlands just recently and have decided to continue practicing as a French tutor. I have also tutored English classes in France for five years.

What? I offer French or FLE (French as a Second Language) courses based on multiple sources and I regularly renew them because it is important to be in adequacy with today's society. As I just started learning Dutch, I teach in English all the while aiming for 90% French during the class.

Where? Normally I go to the learner's home. For the moment, online courses are also popular.

When? I work every day of the week.

I hold a PhD degree in French Literature from Sorbonne University and I've been teaching French and English since 2013. During my class, you will learn how to communicate effectively - and in order to speak, you'll need to practice! I have a passion for French culture, literature, music, film and theatre, and I believe that it's through culture and experiencing the language directly in everyday life that you really immerse yourself in a language. I train also for exams and DELF/DALF. Apart from this, I work as a tour guide specialised in French medieval architecture and a week-end trip to Paris (sightseeing included!) can be planned during the course to immerse in French language, cinema, food and beautiful Parisian museums.

Practicing French in French boulangeries, restaurants and bookshops in Amsterdam can be planned as well. If you're interested in more than practicing speaking and pronunciation skills, we can alternate the grammar/writing classes (held at home) and conversation classes (held anywhere!). We'll use news, social media, Netflix and much more. À bientôt !
