Spanish is a helpful language to know, with more than 40 million Spanish speakers in the U.S. alone. In this class you will learn the fundamentals of the Spanish language along with some cultural aspects of various Spanish speaking countries. We will tackle different tenses, grammar and pronunciation as well. If you're hoping to use this in tandem with a school course I will also be more than happy to follow that curriculum as well!

Hi! I'm currently a freshman at Binghamton University where I will be earning my degree in biology. I have been speaking Spanish my whole life, but I started lessons in school about 8 years ago. I've stuck with this language for so long because I believe learning a different language can make a real impact on your individual lives and the lives of those around you on a daily basis. From being able to communicate better with your grandparents to having a quick conversation at the corner store, Spanish will help you better understand others.

Education

High school graduate with a 4.25 gpa and International Baccalaureate (IB) receiver, Spanish Honor Society member since 2024, Binghamton University freshman with a focus on biology

I've been learning Spanish for 8 years starting in middle school and continue to educate myself on the language everyday, inducted into the Spanish Honor Society in 2024
