-Classical, jazz piano, harmony, and theory lessons for all ages and levels.
- The class length is flexible depending on the student's preference and age (normally between 45min and 1:30h).
- The lessons can be in English, Spanish, and Catalan.

1- Classical: For adults, kids, and people who want to become professionals.

2- I teach different aspects of jazz:
- Playing melodies
- Improvising
- Theory
- Comping
- Improving your technique
- Working on pianistic resources that can be used in jazz.

One of the best ways of learning is transcribing from great jazz musicians. In this vein, you can understand their playing and improve yours from the knowledge learned. Besides you also improve your ear. The students learn using the ear as a main tool in my lessons.

* I also help students to prepare for their auditions for conservatories.

Jan graduated in jazz piano and modern music performance at the Conservatori del Liceu (2020). Later he persued a master's degree at the Royal Conservatory The Hague (Netherlands) obtaining a distinction. During his studies in the Netherlands, he did and interchange program at the USC Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles (USA). Throughout his studies, he has been tutored by important pianists such as Alan Pascua, Albert Bover, Marco Mezquida, Rob van Bavel, Ignasi Terraza, Wolfert Brederode and Jozef Dumoulin; and has received several grants from the Sociedad de Artistas, Intérpretes y Ejectutantes (AIE). He has been part of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, la Màgia de la Veu, World Stage Big Band (Los Angeles), Rik Mol's Aspire Band, and George Povey Ensemble big band.

He has recorded more than 30 albums, including his debut album: Joan Chamorro presents Jan (2020), his first album as a leader with his own compositions The Magical Forest Tour (2022), and his first duo album with the singer Paula Barranco.

He has shared stages with great jazz performers such as Scott Robinson, Dick Oatts, Scott Hamilton, Joel Frahm, Luigi Grasso, Perico Sambeat, Chris Cheek, Yo-Yo Ma and Joe Magnarelli.
