I can help you with that!
My name is Alessio and I am an Italian professional double bass/bass player with degrees in classical and jazz.
I've been living in the Netherlands for over 10 years and I have more than 15 years of professional "live music" experience, including teaching children and adults.
I have always believed in the power of music to connect with others and forge relationships across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
In my opinion, the music discipline is one of the best drivers for a student to learn deeply about themselves.
In my lessons, we will make sure to cover many aspects of playing, from the physical approach to the instrument (especially important for double bass players) to the personal musical expression.
Depending on your wishes and needs, we can focus on:
Genres: jazz, improvisation, classical, pop, rock, metal, funk, blues, etc...
Learning deeper: ear training, harmony, theory, music theory
Band coaching
All levels (beginner, intermediate, conservatory preparation)
Online lessons possible and personal lessons possible in Rotterdam and The Hague
Languages: I can teach in English, Italian, and Spanish

Hi,
My name is Alessio and I' m an Italian double bass and bass guitar player.
I made music my life and I really believe in its power to connect people to each other as well as to themselves in unique ways. For both adults and kids, playing an instrument as beautiful as the bass can be the start of discovering these meaningful connections within daily life. Of course, connecting these days might be digital! But don't worry, my younger students have given a stamp of approval for our Skype lessons too.

Classical and jazz musician, after getting the degree at the conservatory of Modena (Italy), Alessio continues his studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (Bachelor) and Codarts (Master) in Rotterdam where he completed a musical path that crosses the borders between chamber music and contemporary jazz.

He played in many different Jazz Festival around the world and collaborating with several great musicians like Ben van den Dungen, Rob van Kreveld, Erik Ineke, Paolo Orti, Ivan Valentini, Luca Aquino, Gerardo Rosales, Achille Succi, Micheal Moore and many others. Nowadays he is part of several projects that bring him regularly on the road in many countries across Europe.
The 2018 will see the release of Zadeno trio’s new album ‘’The Step Forward’’ and the birth of his own original project Alessio Quintet with the album release “Your knuckles speak volumes” by Emme Record Label in December 2018.
