I’m a professional cellist and dedicated teacher offering cello lessons for children, teenagers, and adults in Amsterdam.

In my lessons, the student comes first. I listen carefully to what you (or your child) need, and I adapt the lesson to your level, personality, and goals. I can be calm and structured, or playful and exploratory – the important thing is that you feel safe, motivated, and taken seriously.

- Adults returning to the cello after a break
- Students preparing for music school or conservatory auditions

I also have experience teaching students with dyslexia and ADHD and I’m used to adjusting explanations, pacing, and exercises so they are clear and not overwhelming.

- Graduate of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam
- Performed with ensembles such as Rotterdam Philharmonic (internship) and Asko|Schönberg
- Experience in competitions and festivals (e.g. Cello Biënnale, Triomphe de l’Art, Wonderfeel Festival)

I'm a competition laureate and Master's graduate from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I've performed with many orchestras and at major venues across Europe, but teaching is my true passion.
What I love most is helping students discover their own musical voice—whether you're a complete beginner or preparing for conservatory auditions. Every student learns differently, and I adapt my approach to your unique goals and personality. Some want serious technical training; others prefer a relaxed, exploratory approach. Both are wonderful!
Based in Amsterdam, I teach all ages and levels. Let's start your musical journey together!

This class will guide you through the essentials of playing the Oud. Understand how to tune the Oud, develop proper finger placement, and practice essential strumming and plucking techniques. Where every lesson is tailored to your unique musical goals. Whether you're just starting or want to refine your skills, these personalized sessions will help you master the Oud at your own pace, with focused attention on technique, theory, and musical expression. Whether you want to learn traditional Arabic/Turkish songs, explore improvisation, or study the intricate scales (maqamat) and rhythms of Arabic/Ottoman music, lessons are customized to your interests and skill level.
