Hey! My name’s Lena and I’m a Graphic Design University student from Spain. I’m moving to the Netherlands this summer and thought it would be a good idea to use my spare time to teach Spanish! My lessons would be based on conversation, no boring textbooks or anything like that. I also don’t mind what your current Spanish level is! Even if you don’t speak a word it can be fun to learn little by little! I’ve also tutored English before, but never Spanish so I think this would be a good opportunity to teach others my mother tongue and show you my culture !! I have a part time job, so we can schedule our meetings around them, also we can just work it out so it suits you as well.

Een taal leren is leuk en uitdagend als je actief mee aan de slag gaat. Voor mijn lessen gebruik ik zowel lesmethodes als zelfontworpen materiaal. Ik vind het belangrijk om samen met de student doelen te stellen en in kaart brengen wat hij of zij wilt leren. Ik vind het fijn om een goede basis te geven en van daaruit steeds uitdagende opdrachten te geven en bespreken die bij het niveau van de student passen. Goede communicatie speelt dus bij mijn lessen een grote rol.

Naast de lesmethodes en eigen materiaal, vind ik het ook leuk om verschillende apps/programma's te gebruiken om het leren een dynamisch karakter te geven, bijvoorbeeld: quiz online om woordenschat te herhalen, memoryspel om de vervoegingen van werkwoorden te oefenen, etc. Ik vind het leuk om de stof op verschillende manieren aan te bieden zodat de student het vaak genoeg herhaald en ook op verschillende manieren verwerkt.

Being a native speaker from Barcelona, Spain I will teach you important vocabulary and grammar, as well as how to talk Spanish until you sound like a native!
For me it's very important to have engaging and fun classes, so you get to feel how amazing studying Spanish really is! We will talk a lot, play games, write recipes (and maybe we can even make them)! Anything fun you can think of, we will do, but in Spanish!

Always wanted to learn Spanish, but the regular lessons go too fast and/or it doesn't stick, then follow these tailor-made lessons.

Why class for 40+, because we have learned from our own experience how difficult it is to learn another language later in life and that most books/courses are based for younger students.

All lessons are adapted to your individual needs and speed.

You do not need to purchase any books, all materials will be delivered by email. This is because we work with several books and in this way we can offer a lot of learning material and thus make the learning material varied (and also rehearse more often if necessary.)

There is no minimum or maximum number of lessons, you are the one who determines the frequency. Of course you can also do these lessons with your partner.

Lessons are given online via Skype and last 1.5 hours at a time.
Lessons can be given during the day or in the evening.

I was born in Italy, but I have spent the last two years of my life traveling the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East and Central Asia, traveling and working remotely.

I am a professional teacher with 7 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, and panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice.
