They have a duration of 50 minutes. In singing classes, breathing and vocal technique are worked through warm-up exercises, always with the aim of working the voice in a healthy and correct way. My classes are mainly focused on the repertoire of the student’s preferred style, which can be pop, soul, jazz, blues, bossa nova, tango and bolero, among others. Each style is worked differently and with the appropriate resources to lead to a good interpretation. Both for warm-up and repertoire I usually accompany the student on the piano. Depending on the style sometimes I may work with karaokes. I also teach a good use of the microphone, to fight stage panic and to enjoy a performance on stage. Modern singing on-line lessons Modern singing on-line classes: technique, improvisation and repertoire Like face-to-face classes, online lessons last 50 minutes. They are also aimed at adults and teenagers who want to learn music and find virtual classes more comfortable, for whatever reason. The lessons are given through a virtual meeting app, either Jitsi or Zoom. They are similar to those in the classroom, with the difference that a little more time is devoted to the repertoire than to the technique.
