I studied my Bachelor in Munich and I did 2 masters at ZHdK (performance and pedagogy). I played in many of the bigger theaters in Europe such as La Scala of Milano, Konzergebouw Amsterdam, Musikverein Wien, Herkulessaal München and many others. I published multiple cds with different Orchestras.
With me you will learn to play guitar and you will develop e good technical level that will let you play many different pices.
I want to show that learning guitar and music is something that everyone can do. It is more important the passion then the talent.

My name is Dominica. I have been playing guitar for 19 years and am currently doing my Masters in Music Performance at the Zurich University of the Arts.

I offer guitar lessons for children, teenagers and adults. I have been giving private lessons using tablature or sheet music for 7 years.

Style range: classical, rock, pop, blues, funk, reggae, jazz, flamenco, folk, accompaniment with vocals, improvisation, etc.

The lessons can take place in Zurich, Affoltern (there are parking spaces for visitors in front of my house), via Skype or at your home.

Teaching languages offered: German, English, French and Czech.

Something about me:

I come from the Czech Republic and started playing the flute, guitar, piano and violin at the age of four.

I have won more than 40 prizes at national and international competitions, both for guitar and flute. I consider these victories to be the most important: Zruč nad Sázavou 2012 (Czech Republic), Dolný Kubín 2012 (Slovakia), PRAGuitarra Clássicca Prague 2014 (Czech Republic), Bratislava 2015 (Slovakia), Žory 2016 (Poland), SAI Pardubice 2017), (Czech Republic). ) Bremen 2018 (Germany).
I lived in France for three years, where I completed the "State diploma of music teacher" and the "National higher professional diploma of musician" at the Ecole Supérieure Musique et Danse Hauts-de-France in Lille.

Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses.

Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels).

My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing.

Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique.

The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible.

I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.

Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality.

Examples of pieces you will be able to play after a year: works by Bach, Giuliani, Fernando Sor, Carcassi, Aguado, Jeux Interdits, baroque flamenco, romantic works

Hi there ! I'm Aurelio, bass player, guitarist and singer originally from Peru, now based in Zurich. I've been performing professionally since I was 18 and my journey in music took me to a jazz school in Toulouse, France. My style blends latin music with a variety of modern popular genres like pop, funk, hip-hop, reggae and jazzy flavours.
However, I really enjoy discovering new music with my students and adapting the lessons to their own music desires !

I am fluent in English, French, Spanish and I am currently learning German.

I have a large experience in live music of various kinds having played many concerts across the country. I also compose and performe my own music and have been teaching at different levels since a few years.
I can teach:

>Bass (jazz, blues RnB soul, rock, pop)
>Theory (harmonie, solfege, ear training)

I am happy to teach from begginers to advanced :)
I am competent in helping prepare for an entrance exam in pre colege or bachelor's degree in jazz and pop
