Hello, my name is Zeynep! I am a mathematician with a doctoral degree. After completing my postdoc, I am currently focused on acquiring new skills while continuing to teach. Teaching has always been my passion throughout my academic career. I have 16 years of experience, starting with private tutoring for school children during my undergraduate studies and eventually teaching at the university level to a diverse range of students. I am capable of teaching at all levels, from elementary concepts to specialized topics. In Turkey, I guided many high school students through their International Baccalaureate (IB) programs, helping them gain admission to highly prestigious universities in the UK, Italy, and Switzerland. Some of these students later became colleagues, pursuing academic careers themselves—a gratifying experience! I currently work in the Netherlands with students from various backgrounds, including HAVO students who follow the Dutch curriculum, international students enrolled in the IB program, and high school or bachelor's students from around the globe, all engaging in remote learning. I am also learning Dutch and am currently at an A2 to B1 level. I teach in English while incorporating Dutch terminology to enhance clarity. At the higher education level, I have taught several calculus courses (both single and multivariable) and linear algebra for students in engineering, natural sciences (biology, physics), computer science, and administrative sciences. What benefits you get from my Teaching classes: 1) I am not very strict when it comes to extra time. We can extend a bit. +10 mins is no problem. I always think that long sessions with small pauses are better so that you get a grip of the topic. 2) I can teach in group as well as alone , what suits you best. In case you are out for a break and don't want to lag behind in comparison to what is going on in school we, can have some back to back classes in short time, if that suits you. Teaching has been a long time passion for me. I have taught already some candidates (look testimonials below) and during my colleges days I have held classes with several group of students. After moving to University I was also delivering sessions for my classmates from different parts of the world and I was in-charge of specific experiment for Bachelors and Masters students as well for a year. Hi! I am Harshitaa. From September 2018, I will be starting university at TU Delft. I will be doing starting my bachelors in computer science and engineering. I have just completed my IB diploma in May. I took these subjects; Physics HL Math HL Economics HL Chemistry SL English Lang Lit SL Dutch SL These are the subjects that I am willing to teach. I have tutored Economics and English beforehand, but this is my first time officially doing it on this website. This is because prior to this year, I was focusing on my own academic performance, and knew that I wouldn't have been able to help other students to my utmost ability. I have also done many workshops at Dutch high schools in order to help the students with their English. I am an extremely motivated teacher and will put in as much time and commitment as I possibly can.
