Do not worry about your level of Spanish. We will always carry out a test before starting the course. This test will help us determine your exact level in order to adapt to your learning needs in the best possible way.

In our lessons we rely on "flipped classroom" to promote the development of skills, promote meaningful learning, resolve doubts and consolidate the knowledge learned in each class. They are all advantages.

We are going to teach you the different skills (linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic) so that you learn Spanish "de pe a pa". In this way, you will behave appropriately and effectively in our country as just one more citizen.

Education

I have a degree in English Philology from the Universidad de Valencia (2010), joined Erasmus programme at the University of Sheffield (2009) and I have a Master’s Degree in Linguistics Applied to the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language at the Universidad de Jaén (2015).

I teach as a Spanish teacher at all levels of the CEFR (2014 to the present).

In addition, I am proud to belong to AEPELE, which is the association of small schools of Spanish as a Foreign Language dedicated to teaching Spanish to foreigners at a national level.

My classes would be decided from both sides, the student tells me what he or she wants and we focus on it. Normally I like to make the classes a bit dynamic.
For example, at the beginning of the class we could start with some grammar, and then practise it with a game, exercises, videos, ...After that, some reading, and finish with activities of speaking. But like I said, we can decide together, and if you prefer to be longer with the speaking is also fine, just tell me your preferences.
I use a digital book as a base that you can buy and then combine it with other tailored materials.
And of course, I can recommend you books, movies, series, apps, and different ways to learn on your own. It can be a kind of homework to keep in touch with the Spanish along the week. Or I can also prepare exercises for the week after or ask you to make a writing and then I correct it and tell you how to improve from your mistakes.

I usually make them very dynamic so that students learn quickly and effectively.

I can do group classes although I prefer to do them individually so I can focus on the difficulties of each one.

When a student has an advanced level (higher than B2) I like to do debates of all kinds, games adapted to age, talk and compare different countries, exchange ideas, cultures, etc. 60 minutes goes a long way! You will not get bored.
