I am a translator so the class is for students at any level. I have also experience in preparing and taking official exams like the TOEFL, Cambridge and Trinity College with excellent results. However, the kind of class I can offer depends very much on your needs and expectations. Therefore, feel free to ask any question and information you might need.

I am a 27-year-old Spanish who loves intercultural communication. I am currently sworking for a Dutch NGO which works in the areas of relief and recovery. I am very interested in languages, I studied a BA in Translation and Interpreting and a BA in International Relations. I lived in Washington DC in 2013-2014 and I have been living in Utrecht since September 2017 (I studied an LLM in Public International Law). I have previous experience in tutoring languages (both English and French). I try to make the most out of the classes, therefore I teach my students grammar, but also I share culture and literature and music (it depends on the needs of the student as well). I am a cheerful, flexible and responsible person.

Spanish is a very useful language in today's globalised society. It is the second most spoken language in the world. Therefore, adding Spanish to one of your skills is highly valued. I am a native speaker and I studied Translation & Interpreting in Madrid and I am eager to teach the language in a fun, but at the same time, useful way. I have previous experience in tutoring (mainly teens) and the way I organise my classes is 50% my choice and 50% based on the student's needs and desires.

I specialize in tutoring secondary school students in English language and literature, particularly students from international schools. I am familiar with the IB-programme and similiar programmes. However, exceptions can be made for other students.

I am fluent in both Dutch and English, so tutoring in either language would not be an issue from me. I would prefer to tutor in the area where I live, but exceptions can always be made. Travel costs are not included in the hourly price.

I offer explanations of Grammatical topics, expansion of vocabulary and tips for pronunciation in order to improve the ability to be understood!

The best way to know a language is through exposition, therefore only English will be spoken in class.
