He has taught up to age 70, meaning it is never too late to start learning. Edgar’s experience in teaching adults means that he is well aware of the difficulties with balancing learning a new skill with working full-time, so he makes sure to take each individual student’s personal circumstances and work schedule into account when organising lessons. Edgar is also able to create personalised learning resources for each student, including technical exercises, or even transcribe the chords of a song that you want to learn if the sheet music isn’t easily accessible or available to buy.

I have a Bachelor degree in Orchestral Instrumentalist and I'm currently undertaking a Master degree of Music in Performance. As a Music teacher,my goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports. Nathan has been playing Guitar and studying Music for over 15 years, from Primary School right through to the current day in University. Beginning just under a year ago, Nathan has thoroughly enjoyed passing on his enthusiasm and passion for Guitar and Music alike through tutoring. Nathan has several qualifications in Music, including GCSE, A Level and First Class honours in Musical Arts (BA) and, starting with a Masters, he hopes to add to these qualifications in the future. His first lesson with any student will be relaxed, with the aim of figuring out the students skill level and what they wish to achieve through their lessons. The student simply needs to let Nathan know their priorities in terms of what they wish to learn and their enthusiasm in achieving this. It is common for Nathan to prepare warm-up exercises for his students, such as stretching exercises for the wrists and hands, along with exercises to develop the technique of each hand, for example finger/plectrum exercises and chromatic scales.
