Maths is an extremely complex subject with a lot of things to understand. I want to be able to help people improve their skills with this subject.

In a session, I would typically work through a task that the student struggles with to help them build on it and try to understand it in a different way. Following this, I would then set a small homework to establish these ideas.

Due to being a student myself, I understand the difficulties that young people face in a classroom and so am able to find alternative approaches which may be more suitable to the individual.

I am a young student with tutoring experience. Due to being in education, I understand the difficulties that a student could face in the classroom and so can approach the lesson in different ways to suit the individual.

Education

I achieved an 8 in GCSE Maths over the 3 exams that i completed in the summer of 2023.

I am currently studying A-Level Maths and have a predicted grade of an A.

I am a Tutor Assistant at Beyond Education. This entails me completing one to one sessions, as well as supporting other tutors in larger sessions.
Because of this job, I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
