Jazz, R&B, Pop lessons with Berklee College of Music Graduate
My name is Malwina. I am a Polish vocalist, composer and educator who specializes in Jazz and creative contemporary music, Pop, R&B. I've graduated from the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Institute in Boston, where I was mentored by Terri Lyne Carrington, Danilo Pérez and John Patitucci among others. I made appearances across the US and Canada, China, Europe and South America. Most recently, I performed at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola as a member of Berklee Global Jazz Ambassadors ensemble, led by John Pattitucci. I also performed at Birdland, Rockwood Music Hall, Ryles Jazz Club, Scullers Jazz Club, Regatta Bar, Cornelia St. Café and Smalls.
My main goal for my students is to impart to them a deeper understanding of vocal technique, and implementing that technique into any genre of singing they choose. I want to find my student’s talents, musical tastes, unique voice, skills, learning style, and personality, to help them grow into complete musician. I teach my students to sing in a healthy and consistent manner. Along with these principles, I create a vocal exercises tailored to each student's needs. I focus on empowering and inspiring my students to be true to their sound and artistry; the ultimate goal is to help them find their own voice.
Aside from wanting my students to have good vocal technique, I want them to come out with good musicianship skills. I want them to be able to count off tunes and know when to come in on the tune. I always make them count things off for me in the lessons so they'll learn to be direct with their band or their accompanist.

MAO on Ableton & Reaper: from the first note to the final mix: creative, technical and tailor-made coachingDo you want to learn how to compose, mix or finalize your tracks with real sound?
Are you looking for someone who can explain things clearly, listen to you, encourage you and help you move forward without going around in circles?
Welcome.
My name is Tom and for 10 years I have been helping artists and enthusiasts create their music, better use their tools (Ableton, Reaper, Logic, etc.) and, above all, find their own sound.
· A clear, personalized method, at your own pace
· Solid foundations if you are a beginner (handling, composition, arrangements, etc.)
· Mixing and mastering courses
· Tools to unlock your creativity
· And an artistic eye to help you achieve your vision
Whether you are a complete beginner, with no knowledge of computer music or music, I will guide you step by step so that you quickly feel comfortable with the tools and can create your first pieces.
If you're self-taught, you may have already accumulated a lot of knowledge, but in a somewhat disorganized way: together, we'll structure all of that, clarify your basics and solidify your approach.
And if you are an artist already on the path, with projects or a vision under construction, I help you refine your universe, professionalize your sound, and go further in your artistic direction.

John
Professional jazz musician teaching jazz, blues, funk, R&B, pop, rock, latin and classical piano.I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard.
My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student.
Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you.
A bit about me:
Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.

PLACES :
- Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Friborg-Neuchâtel-Montreux-Bâle-Sion-Sierre-Morges-Bienne. But currently, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.

Ziad
Oriental Arabic Oud and Singing Teacher in GermanyIn our Oud class, I will guide you through everything from basic to advanced techniques. We will cover playing for all levels, correct left-hand use, synchronizing with the right hand, handling the pick, tuning the Oud, and effectively using a tuner and metronome. In the remaining time, we will dive into reading musical notes, starting with basic Solfege and progressing to advanced and oriental Solfege, including dictation exercises. This comprehensive approach ensures a well-rounded musical journey
My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. While some students prefer to jump straight into playing songs, understanding the fundamentals of music notation accelerates progress in the long run. Dedication and hard work can yield significant progress within a year, enabling you to play simple tunes.
Feel free to leave me a message, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Regular piano lessons too difficult? Then try piano lessons with me!In piano lessons, we use the book method of Notus or Hal Leonard.
Everything is explained step by step and you gradually learn to read music and know the piano.
At the start of our lessons we'll take a look at what is important to you. What goals do you want to set, and what feels achievable and comfortable?
We set long-term goals of, for example, a year. Completely tailored to where you are at, right now.
During the lessons I am patient, motivating, encouraging, and complimenting. I'll point out what could be better, and also pay attention to how you can play more easily. And much more. Tailored to your needs and wishes.
