About Me

I'm a person passionate about flute and teaching. I have 13 years of pedagogical and experience and over 20 years of mastering my performing skills. As a performer I'm specialising in Russian opera and symphony music. Teaching is a very inspiring thing for me. It is an opportunity to share my unique experience and discover a new ways to interact with diverse personalities of students.
I prefer to work with a students of all levels age over 11.
Individual way to work with every student, very attentive to client's request. Ready to work on classic flute repertoire on every level, but also jazz, pop and rock music.
Unique methodic to work with adult beginners.

I am Thijs (30) an experienced drummer and musician, with a wide range of musical interests. Studying jazz drums under the wings of Lander Gyselinck at the KASK/Conservatory in Ghent. In addition, I have followed masterclasses and lessons from/with Joey Baron (US), Kendrick Scott (US), Corey Fonville (US) and Stéphane Galland (BE). I am also active in various bands/groups.

My lessons, depending on the level, focus on both the fundamental building blocks of drumming and music as a whole. These building blocks together with the student's interests form the curriculum, so that it meets the student's wishes as best as possible. I also teach music theory/music theory. Some aspects of this are also offered during drum lessons.

My name is María, I am 25 years old and I am a professional cellist who graduated in Spain two years ago. Now I am doing a Master in Classical Music at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent.

For so many years I have been teaching music in different forms and ages (in already private schools): To people who wanted to get started in the musical language or start playing an instrument, to people who wanted to learn a score. or develop their musical tools, to people who wanted to continue growing as a musician and training their listening and people who wanted to improve their musical theoretical knowledge.

If you are just starting out with cello or music, if you want some extra lessons, if you need to prepare and an audition or an exam, if you are doing high level studies, I can help you. I have been studying and playing the cello for many years in different places (orchestras, conservatories, recordings, musicals...) so I think I can give you some good advice in different areas.

I like to think (and I do in my lessons) that music is a universal language and that anyone can learn and understand it. Also that each person can make their own approach to this wonderful language.
