I believe that one of the most important aspects of being a teacher is developing my students’ confidence as well as developing their ability to step out of their comfort zone. Therefore my students have always been encouraged to sit for exams and perform in concerts, competitions and music festivals. It has been wonderful to see the success my students have gained through these events; however the best thing has been to see how their confidence has improved as a result.

I highly recommend Andrej as a cello teacher. He has excellent training from the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory and is currently gaining experience with the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden. Andrej is patient, knowledgeable, and makes learning enjoyable for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. I’ve really enjoyed my lessons with him! He teaches in Russian, German, or English, which makes lessons accessible to many students. 10/10!
